Melody pounded on the door, her other hand on her hip, "Dammit Mystic! Open the fucking door! You can't keep me out forever!" She began to kick it as hard as she could, "Mystic!"

Mystic growled, throwing the door open as she started to kick it, "Fine just shut up! Jeez!" He walked away from the door, going up to his room. He was hoping that Holden would be able to 'tame' the girl a bit, but seeing as that failed, he didn't know what else to do.

Melody stormed into the house, slamming the door behind her. She went down into the basement; where her room was, and flopped onto the bed with a growl, "Demons..."

Suddenly Holden disappeared and landed outside a wooden door. He sighed and turned the handle, and walked in. He got to the center of the room and got on his knees, "Thank you for seeing me Camelia, and the rest of the council." He bowed his head.

"Holden, you know we don't do it that way. Now sit in the chair." Camelia pointed to the chair. "What is it you wanted to talk about?" She crossed her arms looking at the boy.

He nodded and quickly sat in the chair, "I was wondering if there is a way to have my Paladin powers deactivated." He folded his hands in his lap. "I don't like the hatred I get, I saw it in your face. I'm sure you saw it in mine." He pointed to her then himself.

"Holden, there is a way but it is very dangerous. You will probably die. Could you do that to the people you love?" She narrowed her eyes a little.

"Camelia, I am very strong. And you know that. I will not die." He stood up.

Camelia nodded, "I must talk with my council, go wait out in the hall." She waved him out of the room.

Holden nodded and walked out.

The man sitting next turned to her when Holden was gone, "Mistress, we need Holden, he is very powerful. The Paladin's aren't going to sign the treaty. Since you killed the original boy's mother. And threatened the father." The man sighed.

"I know this Jeremy. But he wants to go back to being human, or at least until he makes up with his love." She sighed missing Felix.

"Ma'am, there is one way." The final member of the council spoke up.

"And what is that Samantha?" Camelia looked at the woman with intrigued eyes.

"Well, the process of ripping the magic out of the body is very painful, but so is adding magic to the body." The woman unfolded her hands.

"Are you saying that while we rip out the Paladin's magic we give him the power of the witch?" Camelia asked crossing her arms.

"Yes, we take from the eldest witch, and give Holden, Michael's powers. And when we need Holden's help we activate them. He would never know, and he would be just like you mistress." The woman bowed her head.

Camelia's eyes turned red quickly, "Your right though. But we will have to see if Michael wants to die. Go Jeremy." She waved the man away.

"Yes mistress." The man disappeared.

Holden walked back into the room when he was called. "Are you going to remove my magic?" He sat back down in the chair.

"Yes we are..." Camelia got cut off.

"No offense to us but why didn't you ask your friend Mystic to do it?" The woman sat forward.

"Because he has done a lot for me, and has probably gotten into a lot of trouble for it. I couldn't ask him to get into more trouble." He crossed his legs. He removed his jacket and shirt. "Let's go." He stood up.

Camelia nodded and clapped her hands. Suddenly all of the lights came on showing that there was a circle under Holden's feet. "You know this is going to be painful." She stood up. "Holden I want to ask you again, are you sure you want to do this?" She walked to one of the circles.

Holden looked down and noticed that he was in the middle of the circle. He looked at Camelia, "Yes I am." He gulped a little. This was probably going to hurt more then when Mystic did it. He closed his eyes.

Camelia looked at Holden, and then the witches that were in the other mini circles. She shook her head to Samantha, "I can't do it to him, he most likely would die."She the started to do an incantation.

Samantha quickly disappeared, "Do it, she said no." She stood next to a different circle. She looked at the man who was bound and gagged in the middle of the circle. "Holden will thank me for this later." She started an incantation.

Camelia growled when she felt Samantha trying to push the witch soul into Holden. She intensified her incantation.

Holden fell to his knees in pain.

Samantha got pushed back a little when Camelia's spell got more powerful.

Mystic's ears perked a bit as he sensed a sudden increase in Ethereal manipulation. Now what could that be? He quickly traced it to Orlando, Florida. As he searched the city, he noticed the high population of witches and wizards. Ah, so that's where they hide. He pinpointed the location; and those involved. Dammit Holden..what are you..gaah! "Melody I'll be back! Try not to burn down my house this time..alright?"

Before she could answer, he was gone, appearing just outside the Council building. He analyzed it further, picking up a second Ethereal circle. The hell is going on here? Oh my.. He quickly wormed his way into Cameila's mind, pulling the information he desired from her, not really caring if she noticed or not. He let out a growl, pinching the bridge of his nose, hardly noting the witches that were highly displeased with him standing there.

He knew there was a block around the building, to prevent him from entering, but he could easily break it and so, he hit it hard with his telekinesis, cracking within the first few hits. After the fourth hit, it shattered and he teleported to where he sensed the witch known as Samantha. He quickly noticed the other two witches and the single wizard. "Well then, looks like we have a little party~"

The two witches jumped forward, muttering their binding spells; knives drawn. Mystic grinned darkly, his eyes glowing bright. He quickly took a few steps forward, his hands; a complete blur to the witches, shot forward, grabbing the shorter one's wrists and slamming her downward into his knee, shattering her skull. "You're still just humans..." He threw the deceased woman aside as the other woman's knife was stabbed into the back of his neck. "Oh, that's mean. At least have the balls to attack me head on."

He sent a blast of telekinesis at the wizard, sensing him getting ready to cast a powerful offensive spell. He knocked the wizard into the wall with his attack as he brought his elbow back at the witch behind him. He grabbed her wrist, twisting it to the side as he turned to face her. "Oh, it's a shame you're so pretty~ I hate to hurt pretty woman, but you know, the knife in the neck really upset me." He put his other hand around her neck, squeezing it until the vertebrae crushed, along with her windpipe. He held her for a moment until he could no longer hear her heartbeat, then dropped her.

Finally he turned to the wizard, who was now getting up, already mid spell. Mystic lunged forward, using his wings to allow him to glide across the room without using any power. He tackled the wizard to the ground, his knife to his throat, "Now, you have two options here: Die or leave. Your choice~" The wizard started to mutter his offensive spell again, launching a powerful telekinetic attack at Mystic.

Mystic was forced to let the wizard go, his wings flaring out to slow him as he landed on his feet only about two yards away, "Or what you thought was powerful~" His eyes turned red as he gathered up his power. He sent out a blast of telekinesis at the wizard, the force of it so intense, it flattened him...quite literally.

"Now it's your turn my dear~" He turned, twirling his knife in his hand as he faced Samantha, "Hopefully you'll be a bit more exciting~" With that, he lunged at her.

Samantha twirled away and kept saying her incantation. Her spell was near complete. She started to say it faster.

Camelia knew Mystic was in her brain, but she kept going. "So close." Her eyes turned white as the room became cold.

Holden was on the ground screaming out in pain. He felt like he was being ripped in two.

Mystic grinned a bit, landing in a crouched position, "You are much quicker than the other three~ Perhaps, this will be more exciting!" He placed his free hand on the floor, muttering a spell to alter the circle. He removed a few lines here and there and replaced a few runes; intending to have the spell backfire on Samantha and not Holden. Once he was finished; and this only took about three seconds, he disappeared, appearing right behind her.

He took his knife, bringing it around and putting it to her throat, putting his other hand over her mouth, his index and middle fingers holding her jaw open and disrupting her spell, "Not that you'll listen, but you know this will fail..right?"

Camelia felt Samantha stop, she quickly finished her spell. When she was done she got thrown back by a blast of power.

Holden screamed when his magic was removed. He fell into unconsciousness.

After a moment Camelia stood up and brushed herself off. She disappeared and landed in front of Samantha. "Thank you Mystic. Now Samantha how dare you betray me? Remember what happened to Harald?" Her eyes glowed red. "But I guess I will let Mystic kill you since I need to take Holden home." She pointed with her thumb. "Bye." She disappeared and so did Holden.

Samantha's eyes went wide as Camelia appeared. She tried to disappear but she was being blocked.

"Why thank you Cameila. It's been so long since I killed anyone last~...not including those three.." He nodded his head back a bit, indicating to the three bodies. "Now let's seeeee~" After a moment of pondering he sighed, "How about we make it bloody~" He then ran his knife hard against her throat, the metal scraping against the bone as he did so.

Camelia landed in Holden's living room, she gently laid him on the couch. She sat on the edge and quickly analyzed him.

Alicia walked into the living room with a glass of blood. She waved at Camelia, "Is he ok?" She took a sip of blood.

"Well, his soul has been altered a lot. But he should be fine. I do still feel a little magic pull though." She sighed. "He is going to be weak for the next few days. He went from a lot of power to none." She made the gestures with her hands. "If you need anything just give me a call." Camelia waved and disappeared.

She nodded listening to Camelia, "That's interesting." She smiled, "I will." She waved. "What am I going to do with you Holden?" She finally smiled at Holden for the first time in months. "I'm glad your not so creepy anymore." Alicia chuckled as she sat in the chair to watch over Holden.

Mystic let her body drop once he was sure she was dead, "And just so you can't go reattaching yourself.." He lifted his hand, altering it to reach into the Ethereal Realm; much like how Azriel pulled the remaining spirit from the old Paladin in Holden, and grabbed onto Samantha's spirit. He quickly caused her ti dissipate and vanish..permanently.

He sighed, his hand reassembling as he disappeared. He reappeared at Solomon's place, sitting in his large plush chair. He turned the swivel chair just as Solomon entered, "I know you are aware of what just happened Solomon."

Solomon paused as he entered his study, a slight confused look on his face, "Actually, I don't...and personally I don't care" He sat down on the couch, watching Mystic with his green eyes. "What do you want Mystic?"

Mystic frowned, "Aw, well I came to tell you something about Holden~ But since you don't care, I guess I'll ju-"


"What? What happened with him?"

Mystic grinned, sitting back down in the chair, "Well, he went to Cameila and the Witch's Council...he had his Paladin half removed, again. Just so he could be 'normal' and return to you~ Isn't that so sweet? He's really a good kid Solomon..."

Solomon looked away slightly, his voice layered with sarcasm, "Incredibly." He sighed, rubbing his temples, "Please leave Mystic..." Before he could even finish his sentence, the demon was already gone.

Suddenly Holden rolled off of the couch. "Oww." He was muffled by the floor slightly. "Alicia? A little help please." He tried to look around but couldn't see much.

Alicia sighed and turned him over with TK. "There you go." She went back to her book.

"You could help me back onto the couch." He groaned a little.

"Shouldda, wouldda, couldda." Alicia flipped the page sarcastically.

"Bitch." Holden said bluntly.

Mystic reappeared back at his house, surprised to see it still standing, "Good job Melody~" He looked around, "Melody?" He searched his property with his mind, but could not locate her, "Now this is unsettling." He sighed, searching for her mind. After a moment, he located her, but did not like her location. "Acera..." He disappeared, appearing next to Melody who was standing in front of Acera. "And do tell me what is going on?"

Acera smiled, looking over to Mystic as he appeared, "I was wondering when you'd join us~ Melody and I are just having a talk is all...you know, I'm a bit disappointed that you refuse to teach her about her powers. I didn't just fork over part of myself to her for nothing. I thought you wanted her to be able to protect herself?"

Mystic flinched a bit, "You promised me Azriel, but I don't see that happening anytime soon." He stood up straight, looking down at her with a glare; no one ever dared to do this and neither did he, until now. "Until you give her back to me, I will refuse to teach Melody, and I terminate my contract with you." He grabbed Melody's hand, then disappeared. They appeared outside Holden's house and he could already sense her displeasure, "Now hold on Melody..Holden had..that part removed from him. I think you owe it to him to visit while he recovers? He really is devastated for how he treated you. If you two can learn to play nice, I will think about teaching you."

Melody sighed, but nodded, "Fine...I will try to play nice." She rubbed her wrist a bit as he disappeared, knocking on the door lightly.

"Oop excuse me Holden." Alicia heard the knock on the door. She closed her book and set it on the table. She went to the door and opened it, "Hi Melody come in." She waved the girl in. "Holden's just resting on the floor. Because he's a jackass." Alicia smiled.

"I heard that Alicia!" Holden looked at the ceiling.

"I know, oh did you hear this?" Alicia slammed Holden up against the wall with TK and let him fall back to the floor.

Holden cried out as his wrist broke when Alicia made him slam into the wall.
