Basically it won't let me. I click on it and the surrounding page appears but the avatar editing area turns into an error page. I'm on Firefox on a linux computer.

Your inventory is pretty messed up. It looks like your avatar and your inventory are both full of items that were deleted in one of the wipes. I've cleaned out the junk data so you can get into the avatar editor now.
