Yellow didn't keep time, though, GSC did. =/ though I have heard of some 1st gen games dying, too. replacing the internal battery should work.

I wish I could play my Pokemon Yellow. But my brother threw it into the washing machine about five or six years ago. :[

@Spiney: My Yugioh games also show up like that. But that's when I push the game in all the way. So when I pull it lose a little out, they will show up normal again.
