Solomon rolled his eyes, "Sometimes I wonder why I ever let Mystic agree to letting you back..." He chuckled, pulling her into a quick hug as they walked, "Oh hun, I'm..." He stopped, grabbing her arm forcing her to stop, "Shhh..." He looked down slightly, his eyes moving back and forth as he listened. "Holden!" He smiled brightly, pulling Alicia down the hallway to where the bathroom was. Sure enough, the door was closed and he sensed Holden in there. "Holden~"

Holden jumped, "Really Solomon? Now your here." He said with a slight sigh. He zipped up his fly and went to the sink. He quickly washed and dried his hands, he then went to the door. He opened it, "Oh hi Alicia" He said somewhat nonchalantly. He quickly turned his attention to Solomon, "What is this?" He asked pointing to the hair on his face. "This is like disgusting. And then that damn catheter." He said with a shiver. He sighed, "Sorry, I am just a tad bit crabby. I mean I was sleeping for at least." He pulled his hair down to his eyes. "A year?! Oh wait this isn't actually my body." He said with a sigh.

He smiled to Solomon, and gave him a hug and a quick kiss. "I have to say Alicia you look weird." He said with a chuckle. Holden smiled and gave her a hug.

"Ouch." Alicia said with a frown. She hugged Holden back, "You look weird yourself." She said with a smile.

"You should've seen him when he first woke up" he winked to Alicia, "He had piercings." He chuckled grabbing Holden after he was finished with Alicia and held him rather tightly, "It's only been six months Holden, relax. Why is it, that you two took less time than I did? Took me two fucking years.."

Suddenly, Mystic appeared, grabbing onto Solomon's arm, "S-Solomon...we really need to talk.." He pulled Solomon aside, looking to Alicia and Holden, "I'm sorry you two, but this is really important." He looked back to Solomon with a frown speaking very quietly so the two humans couldn't pick up the entire conversation. He had scanned their minds and realized neither of them know Swedish, "Jag är ledsen att det tog så lång tid att kontakta dig igen, men vi har haft problem med ... saker. When we were retrieving Alicia's spirit, we came across another that was rather attached to her. She came through at the same time as Alicia, that's why Azriel left in such a fuss that day. Anyway, long story short, we have a living Marionette doll that keeps asking for you three...er, leet me rephrase...she 'signs' it..she's a mute.)"

Solomon's expression became concerned as Mystic spoke, "En levande Marionette? Du menar .. anda väckt en livlös docka till liv, i grunden?(A living Marionette? You mean..the spirit brought an inanimate doll to life, basically?)" Seeing Mystic nod, he nodded as well, understanding. "Fick du ett namn?(Did you get a name?)" He glanced to Alicia, curious as to what happened with her in the Ethereal Realm. As far as he knew from experience, spirits did not see each other; usually. He saw a few others in his time there. They can interact with each other, but such interactions are very limited, unlike in the living world. Mostly they gather in small groups that share similar emotions and methods of death.

Mystic nodded, "Det är precis vad jag menar..ett namn? Ja .. Umm ..(That's exactly what I mean..A name? Yes..umm..)" he lowered his tone of voice even more, hoping that neither of them could lip read, "Melody Rousseau..." He leaned back, watching Solomon's face closely.

Holden sighed when Mystic pulled Solomon away. He watched Mystic's face intently, he noticed he wasn't speaking English. He narrowed his eyes when he figured out it was Swedish. His mouth gasped open when he saw Mystic say Melody. "Wh-..what about Melody?" He asked walking closer to Mystic and Solomon. He looked at Solomon, "I wasn't eavesdropping, I was..reading your lips. I can't exactly hear you two." He said crossing his arms as he waited for a smack. He sighed putting up his hand to silence Solomon. "Never mind Solomon, I know you wont tell me anyway." He said walking back to Alicia. "Let's go, help me shave this damn beard." He said pulling Alicia to the bathroom. When they got in Holden locked the door.

Alicia whined a tad when Holden pulled her into the bathroom.

Solomon sighed, "Noth-" Before he could even get a word out Holden was storming off to the bathroom. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, "Humans..I tell you Mystic, never date outside your species. Ah, don't get me wrong. I love that man, but sometimes their personality quirks get rather annoying." He glanced to the door and moved down the hall, motioning for the demon to step over.

Mystic hurried over, rather worried, "She keeps asking for you and Holden, him the most. What do you want me to do? I can't reattach her to a human, it's far too late for that. Azriel had to bind her to the doll because we didn't have a body prepared for her and if we would've just thrown her into one, she would've ended up in a situation worse than Serus's. Are you familiar with the incident between the Antinoris and Azriel a few years back?" He kept his voice low, but at this point, he was sure Holden knew who he was talking about so he wasn't all that concerned.

Solomon nodded, "I am...and the girl, Ariel?"

Mystic nodded, "Correct. Ariel was originally supposed to be attached to a body very similar to her old demon self, but for some reason the body rejected her. As per orders, we had to keep Ariel in this plane, and I cannot elaborate further on why. Anyway, back on track, so Azriel and I had to improvise and attach Ariel to an almost life-sized Marionette. After she was solidly in the doll, we had to construct a mechanical skeleton for her to control, and so on and so forth. It was painstakingly hard to get the intricate metal-work under the Marionette's 'skin' so she could move. We constructed a similar device for her so we could communicate since she is unable to speak. I also taught her English with not so..conventional means..." He paused a moment, running his hand through his hair; careful of his hat, "She's still adjusting to this whole..way of life so to say."

Solomon silenced Mystic, "I don't want her near Holden yet. Once he's gathered up some strength and has had some time with Alicia, I will consider it. For now, just keep her locked up in a case or something." He looked away, slightly peeved that she of all people, had to be back. He was still rather miffed at her for what she put Holden through.

Holden sighed leaning on the counter, "I take it your not turned yet?" He asked looking over to Alicia.

"Nope, Solomon wanted to wait until you woke up." Alicia said leaning on the door.

"Figures." He said shaking his head. He noticed a window, "Help me." He said walking over to it and opening it.

"Oh no! Solomon is a lot more scary when you know he can easily kill you." She said waving her hands back and forth.

"Gah whatever Alicia." He said climbing on top of the toilet. He was lucky he was so skinny. He went head first, "Wish me luck." He said as he started to slip. "Shit!" He said as he went flying out the window. He flipped in the air and slammed on his back. Holden started coughing because the air was driven out of his lungs.

Alicia ran to the window when she saw Holden slip out. "Are you ok? You know the foundation is pretty high up.." She said looking out.

Suddenly a brown hared woman appeared next to Holden, "Holden, you know that was stupid right? That was a good ten foot fall, I'm surprised you didn't break anything." She said pulling Holden up. "I'm Annemarie, Seth's oldest daughter." She said grabbing his arm. Now close your eyes." Annemarie said as she waited to teleport.

"I ya I know.." Holden said grabbing his back. "Ya I know who you are, when I was a vampire Seth and Sean showed me you and your sisters. But how do you know who I am?" He asked with a slight cry of pain. "Wait I have been here for six months, that's how you know me." He said shaking his head. Holden nodded and closed his eyes.

Annemarie smiled and teleported close to Solomon, "Here is your boy." She said with a little annoyance in her voice. "He tried sneaking out of the bathroom window. I did the same thing once, but I didn't go flipping onto my back." She said with a giggle. "I'm just kidding Holden, but then again kind of not. Anyways if you want to go out just ask, I have nothing else better to do." Annemarie said handing Holden to Solomon, she quickly disappeared.

Holden didn't want to open his eyes when she mentioned Solomon. "Sorry.." Holden grumbled to Solomon.

Solomon sighed, a slight glare on his face as he looked to Holden, "You should know better than to try going out the second story Holden. Are you alright?" He quickly looked Holden over, noticed he did do minor damage to his back. With a quick prod, he sent his body's healing into overtime and fixed it. "There you go love~ Anyway...you do know you just ditched Alicia.." He pointed to the door, "She doesn't seem too happy."

Mystic remained silent, he was unsure if Solomon wanted to talk to him about anything else. "Is that all Solomon? Azriel could really use my help right now..she doesn't know..sign language. Crazy right? Woman's over 1200 years old and she doesn't know one of the oldest forms of language." He rolled his eyes a bit.

Holden quickly opened his eyes after really hearing Annemarie. "Hey now Annemarie, I am older then you." He said looking around. He then looked at Solomon, "I'm fine, and I didn't ditch her. She is scared of you." He said poking Solomon's chest with his boney finger. He looked at Mystic, "Bye, have fun with whatever you two were talking about." Holden said waving slightly.

Annemarie appeared next to Holden, "You may be older then me, but I can kill you no problem." She said with a giggle as she disappeared.

Holden sighed as Annemarie disappeared, "Whatever child." He said looking down at the floor.

"I heard that!!" Annemarie yelled.

Holden jumped when he heard Annemarie, "I should go back." He said pointing with his thumb. He felt defeated as he turned around and walked back to the bathroom. He turned the knob and forgot that it was locked. "Alicia open the door please." He said pounding a little bit.

"No! You were gonna leave me here." Alicia said crossing her arms.

"No you were going to stay here. You are the one that is afraid of Solomon. He is a wimp, he wouldn't hurt you." He said turning to Solomon. "Fuck!" He said under his breath as he started running to find some place to hide. Even though there is no place that Holden could hide.

Solomon grabbed Holden with telekinesis and dragged him back. Once he was close enough, he wrapped his arms around him, holding him tightly, "You know you can't escape me love~" He placed a quick kiss on Holden's cheek, "You need to adjust your attitude mister, or you will be punished~" Without looking up or moving, the bathroom door flung open as Solomon broke the lock and pushed it with telekinesis, "You know I wouldn't hurt you Alicia..you don't need to be scared~" "Just keep her away from him Mystic...she's been nothing but trouble to us since we met her in France.."

Mystic nodded, "Can do, sir~" He saluted, rather mockingly, then disappeared.

Holden sighed as he stopped dead in his tracks. Before he knew it he was in Solomon's arms, "I know I can't, and by the way your crushing me." He said straining to breath. "Good or bad punishment?" He asked with a wink as he felt Solomon's grip loosen up. "Again never mind, you would defiantly kill me. I am basically skin and bones." Holden said looking at his protruding breastbone.

Alicia jumped when the door flew open, "I know Solomon. It is just that I can feel the power rolling off of you and it is scary." She said walking to the door. "Not to push here, but can I be turned now? And if so I was wondering if I could have Seth or Serus do it." Alicia asked stepping out of the bathroom.

Solomon loosened his grip, "I'm sorry..it's just been so long since I last held you~" He trailed one hand down Holden's chest, "Perhaps a little of both?~ Don't worry Holden, I can still be rough with you without severely injuring you." He looked up to Alicia with a slight frown, "Ask them yourself. I'm not your messenger boy."

"I wasn't asking you to ask them for me. I was just asking for your permission, for me to ask them." Alicia said knowing that it sounded better in her head. She walked down the hall and went to where she last saw Seth.

"I know Solomon." Holden said tracing Solomon's jaw with his boney finger. "I can't believe I got this skinny in just six months." He said looking at Solomon with weak eyes. "I could make a killing selling this to people. 'Come one, come all, have your soul put into a Paladin's body and then have two demon's break the Paladin's spell. Then go into a coma for six months... Wait did we mention the best part? Having another soul ripped from you body is quite painful, so painful in fact that it feels like all of your organs, bones, and blood vessels are exploding. And then on top of that have one of the demons fall on you and shatter your knees.'" He said with a sigh.

He looked Solomon in the eyes, "Sorry I just felt like ranting for a minute." He said leaning his head on Solomon's chest. "I'm sorry for putting you through more hell." Holden said closing his eyes.

Solomon picked Holden off the ground, ignoring Alicia. "It's alright, I understand. Now come~ You need to eat and Anne says she's got quite the meal for you!" He took Holden downstairs with a smile, "You're feeling much better I take it?" Suddenly he flinched, pausing mid step as he was going down the stairs. He let out a growl, muttering something extremely insulting about Mystic and continued on.

Serus tilted her head, bent at the hips as she stared at the blonde haired doll in the chair, "This is..impressive Azriel..." She reached forward, gently touching the doll's cheek; it was soft, but there was that typical hardness that most of the Marionette/Ball-and-Joint dolls had. "Why didn't you just grab a body and remove that person's spirit?" She straightened up as the doll's blue eyes became rather frightened.

Azriel crossed her arms, "It doesn't work like that Serus. Your method of attachment could've failed entirely. For it to be done properly, a spell, circle, and ring of demons is required...not to mention the spirit has to be pulled from the Realm itself, not already present in the Living Plane. And before you ask, I can't transfer her now either...I have to wait until the doll deteriorates and she's sent back to the Ethereal Realm...even then, it'd be a bad idea to reattach her..spirits can only be transferred so many times."

Mystic knelt in front of the girl, moving his hands to sign with her, 'I know you want to see Holden, but right now..he's not well. Solomon said that perhaps in a few days you could see him.' Now, he could verbally speak with her, but it was a bit comforting to her if he signed with her.

The doll's eyes blinked a bit, having an odd life-likeness to them. As she moved her hands to sign, her movements were jittery and sometimes, her arms went limp entirely until she could gain control again, 'But..I want to see him now...I have to apolo-*-*-*[indicates her arms failing]...apologize to him...'

Seth sat down on one of the steps, "This is all quite interesting." He said looking to Mystic.

Alicia walked into one of the studies, she jumped a bit when she saw Sean and Jen. "Sorry, Sean? Have you seen Seth?" She asked twiddling with her dress.

Sean looked up from his book, "Ya he is with Serus in South Dakota. Why?" He asked with a smile.

"Well I was gonna ask him if he could turn me. Holden is awake, and I really don't like being human." She said with a frown.

"Well sugar-britches I can always turn you. I mean I am older then Seth. Plus I am cooler." He said with a smile.

Jennifer slapped Sean upside the head, "I am right here you know."

"Ow! Yes I know, and I didn't mean it that way jeez." He said rubbing his head.

"I guess you can turn me." Alicia said offering her neck to Sean.

Sean closed his book and lunged at Alicia. He plunged his fangs into her neck...

"I can walk you know." Holden said wrapping his arm around Solomon's neck so he wouldn't fall. "I felt fine before." He lied. He placed his finger on Solomon's lips, "I'm just lucky my Prince always comes to my rescue." He said with a smile as he placed his head on Solomon's shoulder. Holden sighed deeply.

"Your Prince would be damned if he ever failed to save you..oh wait..he has.." He chuckled a bit, taking Holden to the dinning hall. "She said the food should be ready in a few minutes..I have no idea what she's making.." He almost dreaded it.

Mystic frowned slightly, 'Listen, Melody..Holden and Solomon both went through a similar thing like you did..they're still recovering themselves. I just need you to be patient. Okay? I promise to take you the very second I can.'

She was about to respond when she fell from the chair, loosing control over her entire body. With pained eyes, she slowly scrambled to her hands and knees. She had not walked yet and doubted she'd even be able to stand. She looked over to Mystic, pleading silently for help.

Mystic sighed, picking her up and holding her, "Don't worry...it'll get easier..I promise." He nodded a farewell to the others then went off to his room, laying her down on the bed, 'Rest.'

Serus nodded, "I understand...about how long can the doll last?"

Azriel sighed deeply, "It depends on the original craftsmanship of the doll. She'll probably last..a few years? If she stays in consistent contact with someone proficient in Ethereal energy, she could probably last...80 years if she stays out of trouble. Ariel lasted..two hundred...something or other...and we did get into quite interesting..situations."

Sean pulled his mouth away when he felt Alicia's heart stop. He counted for a second then cut his hand on his nails. He put his hand to Alicia's mouth and let the blood drip down her throat.

"No your Princess failed you." Holden said not believing he just called himself a Princess. He shook his head, "I'm not even hungry." He thought to himself. "How has Hayden been?" Holden asked.
