Jasmine followed Kali with her eyes, but decided to stay put until things got far to weird. "Uuuh, sure... I guess he is." She was actually positive he was, but wasn't about to admit it out loud. "How old are you guys anyway?" She hoped they were younger than her. It would seen odd to her if they weren't, but then again, wasn't this day full of odd things.

"We are 25, what are you daddy like 90?" The girls asked.

"I'm only 50, thank you. Jasmine are you hungry?" Randy asked looking at her.

Zac appeared a few feet away from Kali, "Sorry about the twins, but their mom made me promise that I would help them. And this is my way to help them, to put them up and pay them a salary." He said crossing his arms. "You know I like the sky here in England better then America. It seems more open." Zac said taking a deep breath and looking up.

She looked up, "Because it's not about sky scrapers here...it's about being more down to Earth and realistic with plans and goals." She closed her eyes, resting her head on the tree, "Either way, it still looks the same to me." She brought her fingers to her lips giving a loud and fairly long whistle. "Hopefully he's not too far off. I hate it when he wanders." She opened her eyes looking at Zac, "Why did you tell us about you being a vampire? You knew it was only going to cause issues for the three of us, yet you did it anyway."

Jasmine sighed slightly. Of course they were older than her. Life simply wouldn't let it be another way. "Yeah, I could use something to eat, but you shouldn't go to any trouble."

[Bovice]

"Don't worry dear, I have nothing else better to do. Since Zac doesn't eat, I really have nothing much to do." Randy said with a small sigh.

Zac sighed and laid on the ground, "Do you really want to know Kali?" He asked but knew her answer would be yes. "Usually when human's are told, they don't believe. Anyway, I usually only tell people that I feel a deep connection too. And one of my powers is that I can change a person's emotions with just one touch." He said raising his finger. "I also feel the person's emotions. The reason that I told you and Jasmine is because I..." Zac said as he trailed off.

Kali raised a brow, crossing her arms, "Don't get all shy on me Zac. I'm asking you a serious question. If you would've just manipulated us to just brush off the occurrences and leave, I would be at home, enjoying a few hours with my mother and then perhaps hanging out with a few friends from school. Now I'm on the other side of the world with someone I barely know, yet alone trust because he's a vampire. I know I came of my own volition, but the main reason I agreed was so my mother could do what she does best without having to worry about me." She pinched the bridge of her nose, letting out another long whistle, "Where the fuck is that stupid cat?"

Suddenly Solomon jumped down from the tree, landing on her shoulders. She couldn't help but fall forward a bit as the force of the cat hit her. She quickly balanced herself with a sigh, "You're not a shoulder cat anymore Solo, you're too large. Get down." The cat refused to move, hissing at Zac and swiping his paw at the air.

"Alright then, just give me whatever you feel like cooking. I'm not picky. You've worked here quite some time, it sound like. What do you do when he's gone? Just hang around?" Jasmine asked.

[Bovice]

"Usually, he still pays us when he isn't here. And since his body only ages once every ten years, he only stays here for a few years and then back to the states for a few more." Randy said as he grabbed a few pans.

Zac sighed sitting up, "I care very deeply for you Kali. The way your eyes glisten when you see a painting, the way your voice goes down when your yelling at Solomon." He said with a small chuckle. "My emotions have always gotten the better of me. That's why I killed that whole coven." He said with a sigh. "Um excuse me, if your hungry Randy is making some food." Zac said as he disappeared.

Kali sighed, rubbed her temples, "I'm n-" And of course, he was gone. She picked Solomon from her shoulders, setting him down, "Care to give me a tour?" She followed along behind the cat, looking around at the vastness of his property. It was rather impressive and serene. Soon they came upon a bench and Solomon hurriedly jumped on it, "Is this what you've been doing? Being fat and lazy?" She laughed, sitting down next to him, scratching his chin as she watched the various pest animals skitter the property.

Jasmine pondered this for a moment. "That sound like it would be difficult. I can't imagine having to always move like that." She wondered how he managed to do it. To leave his friends behind just like that. It was daunting to think about.

[Bovice]

"That is why he rarely makes friends. Usually when hes here he just sits in his room and looks at Isabelle's picture." Rand said as he cut some onion.

Zac appeared in his room on his bed and opened up the night stand drawer. He pulled out a picture frame with a old picture in it. He sighed as he looked at the picture. "Why?" Zac asked as he closed his eyes when tears fell from them.

Jasmine leaned against the counter, remembering the story Zac had told them about Isabelle. "He must have loved her a lot. He's lived so long... carrying that burden on his heart all that time. I don't think I could do it. I've never fallen in love, at least not one so deep, but I know I'm not one who could easily accept something like this." She smiled a little then. "I'd probably fight for them till I died, whether they wanted me too or not. I'm stubborn like that."

[Bovice]

Randy sighed and set down the knife, "You have no idea how much he loved her. I wanna show you something, but it might be a little painful." He said turning around.

"No daddy, Zac would get mad." The twins said in a whisper.

"I know, but they need to know." Randy said looking at Jasmine. "Don't worry I know what I'm doing." He said as he closed his eyes. He opened them and they were pitch black, he started doing an incantation. He was channeling Jasmine's and Kali's mind, he was showing them what happened fifty years ago.

A young man was running down a long hall but was stopped when he reached a dead end. "No that can't be her." The young man said almost breaking down.

"I told you that you could never run from me vampire. I am your death, I am the vampire slayer." A red headed woman walked out from the shadows.

"That voice, no please no." The man said turning around. "Isabelle, how could you have taken over for your father?" The man said, as they saw that it was Zac.

"You left me Zachary, you left me alone with my father who broke me. You never loved me at all did you?" Isabelle asked pulling out a wooden stake.

"I do and did love you Isabelle. If I wouldn't of left your father would have killed me." Zac said stepping forward a little bit.

"You would of taken me with you, but no it was all about you. You selfish devil." She said as she walked close to Zac.

"I have been drinking animal blood since I left you that day. My heart has been aching for you." Zac said putting his hand on his heart.

"Your heart is a dried up piece of flesh. It doesn't beat, it doesn't live, just like you." Isabelle said narrowing her eyes.

"It may not beat, but I do love you. You were the rose in my darkest days. How could you forget that?" Zac asked stepping forward even more.

"You forgot about me!" Isabelle said running at Zac and putting the stake to his heart.

"I didn't." Zac said stopping the stake from piercing his chest. "I always told you the truth." He said placing his free hand on her hands. He quickly sent her emotions haywire.

Isabelle dropped the stake as she felt Zac's emotion's go into her. He did love her, how could she be so blind?

"I have loved you Isabelle, you see that now. But I can't be with you, you just tried to kill me." He said pushing her down to his legs so he could sit up.

"Zac...I'm so sorry. I still love you. I can't live without you for another moment." Isabelle said as she started to cry.

"I can't be with someone who wants to kill me." Zac said looking away from Isabelle.

"I..." She said trailing off. She grabbed Zac's face and brought it so he was looking at her. She quickly laid a passionate kiss on his lips.

Suddenly a bullet went flying through Isabelle's heart and into Zac. Isabelle went limp, "Isabelle?" He asked looking to the doorway. "Darren, you son of a bitch! How could you kill your daughter?" Zac said as he quickly had Darren by the throat. His eyes turned blood red.

"She isn't my daughter, she fell in love with you. A disgusting demon." Darren said in between chokes.

"I loved her, and you loved her. I... I can't believe that you are such a jackass. I haven't killed anyone since you made me leave her. I think I can make an exception for you. Now ain't I so kind?" Zac said with an evil smile. He quickly put his hand through Darren's chest, and quickly removed his heart. "Now you are dead." Zac said throwing the life less body across the room.

He quickly ran to Isabelle's side, "I'm..." He started to say but the flashback ended.

Zac grabbed Randy's throat and slammed him into the island. His eyes were red but tears were falling from them. "I told you to never show anyone that! How dare you betray me Randy? I saved your life, and I knew you were a warlock." He said looking Randy in the eyes. "I will spare your life, but if you ever show anyone that again. I will not hesitate to kill you." Zac said letting go of Randy, he quickly disappeared and was in his bed again.

Kali bolted upright as the images flashed through her mind. It was heartbreaking, yes, but now she was peeved. She looked to Solomon who was passed out, "Wait here." She stood, storming inside the house and to the kitchen pointing her finger to Zac, but paused as he was yelling at Randy. She then assumed it was him, and so her finger went to him, "You two are rather irritating. I never gave you permission to invade my mind like that. Next time," she pulled a knife from the sheath under her skirt, throwing it at him. The blade lodged itself in the wall on the other side of the room, barely missing Randy's neck, "I won't miss." She turned in a huff then went back outside.

What she had seen was... heart-wrenching, to say the least, but as sad as it was when Zac appeared, cutting off the vision, she was angry with him. Randy had indeed betrayed a trust between the two, but threaten death seemed more than a tad extreme. Admittedly, she did not know, nor would ever came close to knowing, how such strong emotions would make her act in a similar situation. So with that her anger was short lived and she had nearly reached out to try and comfort him when Kali's knife took her off guard. She froze for a split second, but before she could try to comfort him again, he was gone, and Kali was storming away.

She looked at Randy for a quick moment before striding over and taking the knife from the wall and placing it on the counter gently. "Thank you, for showing me that, and sorry for what just happened." She paused and looked away, but gave him no time to reply before saying, "I need to talk to him." And with that she turned and began her search for Zac's room.

"I wouldn't do that." Randy said a little horse.

"We told you daddy." The twins said.

Zac got up from his bed and went to his mirror. "Why did I show him that?" He asked himself. He quickly went back to his bed and sat down. Zac stared at the picture.
