Yes I was thinking of that but I do not know the game that well so I couldn't say that for sure xD.
And awesome! I was hoping that was the plan, it's nice to grow food <3. Come Chat With Me?

Yup. Laura Croft from Tomb Raider. Not that I know a lot about games.
I figured growing veggies would help with food costs. I do like flowers, though. I have some that I will keep in the garden.

Aw that is cool then :). Good with food costs and energy and pesticide consumption/spread as well.

That is what I was thinking. If I could just get organized enough to do it.

We have deer and rabbits - not to mention other critters - that run though our yard. So, I would have to weed, water, fertilize, and guard those plants a good deal. The results will be tasty, though.

We do not have deer, in all these fenced in yards XD but we do have rabbits and the garden has to be protected from those, but for the most part it does fine.

We have wooded areas near our home, so we have a herd of deer in the area.
The soil could use improvement, too. will probably have to add compost.

Well, there are deer in some parts of town but for the most part, I am in a pretty big suburb of a big city (though it is shrinking... but that is off point) so there aren't too many places for deer. There is a nice spot near my school; I go to a community college and next to it is a satellite campus of the University of Michigan, and that is pretty well wooded, in fact you wouldn't know there was a college campus there driving by, and it is right by Henry Ford's estate which is also nicely wooded. In that area, I am sure there are some deer.
There is a shopping center across the expressway, walking distance from my house and the runoff ponds attract all manner of birds and small beasts; lots of ducks and geese of course, mostly mallards and canada geese but some other, more interesting duck pairs have appeared, as well as muskrat, blue heron, and the occasional egret. It is actually hatchling season; I'd love to go look and see how many clutches there are of the fuzzy little chirpers. Come Chat With Me?

Speaking of birds, we had some Carolina Wrens try and nest in our garage.
We put a decorative bird house on our porch, and now they nest in there. XD

Aw, haha. Round here we mostly have robins and sparrows, some red winged blackbirds and pigeons and doves. I mean there are starlings, cardinals, jays, the occasional woodpecker, and from time to time overhead if one is lucky one might spot a bald eagle...

We have a lot of different kinds of birds at our feeder and yard : robins, house finches(sparrows?), blue jays, cardinals, goldfinches, morning doves, chickadees, blackbirds, crows (ravens?), and woodpeckers. We also sometimes have more unusual ones like tufted titmice, cedar waxwings, yellow flickers, mockingbirds, red-eyed verios, turkeys, and hawks.

House finches are smaller than sparrows and more plainly colored with, I believe, rosy breasts at least in the males.
I'm always excited to see the goldfinches; there aren't too many colorful birds which frequent the area. There was once a hawk in the backyard, but for the most part our area is too closely populated for large birds of prey to come into the yard. And there aren't turkeys, though I have seen them in the wild on occasion upstate. Mourning doves' distinctive (name-sake) cry is often heard... those birds are pretty dumb though xP. I've heard woodpeckers more than seen them, but I have seen one or two, although not in my neighborhood. The last ones you've named, I've heard of although I couldn't pick out but I don't think we get many, anyway. Blue jays, cardinals, goldfinches, mourning doves, the occasional chickadee, starlings, grackles, red winged blackbirds... those are distinctive by their calls as well. They are marsh birds... Gold finches, cardinals, and blue jays are such fun to see since they are so colorful.
We don't often see hawks, actually, but one was snacking on a squirrel in our yard once. Woodpeckers and chickadees like suet. We'll see a number of them when we put it out.

Aw, that's cool then :). My dad is the one who does all the birdfeedering, but it is kind of cruel to invite birds to your yard when there is a risk of a dog coming out and grabbing one x_o.
