Artemis sat up a bit seeing William's hand move, she didn't address it though, knowing his hand was moving fairly fast and that she should not have noticed it, were she human. She leaned forward again, speaking loud enough so he could hear, "You should probably go faster if you hope to loose them. Im sure they've got cars nearby." She frowned, what had she gotten him into? She should've just dropped the two in an ally way. "I'm sorry for getting you involved."

William nodded and sped up, soon they were zooming through the public streets. Hopefully, they would not be followed. He shrugged. "Art dear, you're my best friend. You've haven't dragged me into anything I wouldn't have thrown myself in already." He told her confidently. "Don't worry about this. I'll get you safe, then I'll figure out how to fix this." He didn't mention he already knew what he would do. He would kill them.

Artemis gave him a squeeze, "I don't want you out messing with those people. I'll just call up my father, he'll take care of it. He's..resourceful like that I guess.." Her father had died hundreds of years ago, but it's not like William knew that. She would take care of the gang while William was asleep.

William frowned. If she did that then he wouldn't be able to handle them himself. This disappointed him. "If that's what you want, I'll keep my distance. But it's not safe out tonight. You're staying over at my place." He insisted. If he couldn't kill them himself, at least he would watch over Artemis until someone took care of them. As he said this he pulled into the parking lot of his apartment complex. He parked the bike and turned it off.

Artemis laughed a bit, "Oh fine, since you'll make me." She smiled as she got off the bike, quickly removing the helmet from her head and holding it with both hands, "I've never been involved with gangs before..this is quite nerve-wracking. I dont know what I'm going to do if this doesn't settle soon."

William took the helmet from her and placed it on the bike. He grinned. "Of course I'll make you. We'll eat leftover Chinese food and watch those really terrible movies so we can make fun of them." He lead her inside his apartment and locked the door behind them. "Don't worry." He said, and rubbed her shoulder soothingly for a moment. "No one's going to touch you." He promised.

She smiled following him inside. As they walked, she looked to the ground, muttering to herself, "it's not me I'm worried about." She smiled at William as he promised no one would touch her, "But..you just did..so that means..someone touched me. Soo..I think you need to take action." She laughed a bit, giving him a quick hug.

William chuckled deeply and wrapped his arms around Artemis, not letting her exit the hug. The feel of her in his arms was nice. Far better than just holding her hand. "Hmmm, I guess I did." He grinned. "What action do you suppose I take? Unfortunately I don't know how to punish myself for this terrible crime." He said, sounding as if he was truly at a lose. Reluctantly he let her go, knowing if he held on too long she would get suspicious.

Artemis grinned, "Oh I don't know..I mean..it's pretty serious and require adequate punishment." She was a bit saddened when he let her go, but kept her smile upon her face. "Oh I know, you'll have to watch the most horrid movie ever..and I get to pick it." She winked, knowing just the movie to watch.

William laughed. "Oh will I?" He reached over and ruffled her hair. "I suppose I must. But I will take my punishment like a man. And by that I mean, scarfing down food and making fun it." He grinned. "Pick the movie and I'll get the food." Quickly he moved to the kitchen and went to heat up the food.

She laughed softly, heading over to his massive collection of movies. "Alright..let's see here..where is it?" She swiftly grabbed the dvd, popping open the case as the dvd player and tv suddenly turned on, without her touching it. After a moment, the player opened in the same, mysterious fashion and she placed the disc in it, gently pushing it closed. "I hope you hate The Sound of Music! It's the worst I could think of!" She giggled, placing the remotes on the arm of the couch so they were easily acceptable.

"Ah! You wound me with your movie choice. But I will suffer bravely through my punishment." He called to her. Just as he said this the microwave timer went off and he pulled their food from it. Placing it on a tray he carried it in and set it on the end table. He plopped down on the couch and spread his arms over the back. "Come 'ere, take a seat and let enjoy the torture you've picked out."

Artemis flopped down on the couch next to him with a smile, "You'll suffer greatly!" She looked at the small assortment of the Chinese food, "What? No fried rice? What kind of person do you take me for?" She laughed, grabbing something that smelled really nice. She took a fork and took a small bite, "Interesting..what is it?

William stared st the piece of food for a second, narrowing his eyes as if he were examining it. "I think it's orange chicken. Either that or some kind of pork. All I remember was I got a free sample of it and it tasted great." He laughed and took a bite for himself.

She swatted his hand, "It's mine now. You never steal a lady's food. Now you must sing along with the movie! And I know you know it!" She laughed darkly, pushing up her glasses quick before taking another piece of the..whatever it was.

"Aw, come on share!" He said and laughed. When she went to take another bite he intercepted, bringing his face up to take the piece of food right off of the fork. This action brought his face right next hers, their cheeks brushing. William felt his skin heat. He needed to be more careful. Still he ate the piece of... stuff and pulled away, trying to pretend nothing had happened. "I do not know the words to these songs." He lied with a grin.
