Joey felt a small pain in his chest at Saya's words. He had never been good at controlling how he felt. "I'll... keep that in mind." He told him with a nod. Then he sighed. "That's really to bad, of course I could help you out a little. Throw in a kiss scene in the play, help you figure out what you're feeling." He nudged the boy's shoulder.

Olivia cleared her throat a little. "It's... what happens when you like someone. Not just as a friend but as... something more. As in, you would like to date and to... touch this person." Olivia felt her cheek go red. It was an odd conversation to have with Flutter, especially when her older brother's face refused to leave her mind.

"So...Should I see if it helps to hold his hand then?" Flutter looked at the boy curiously, her head adjusting to look ahead at Sayaku and Joey. Her hand reached out very slightly before retracting, her red face becoming deeper in color. "His hand is much bigger then mine though...I might be swallowed up if I'm not careful. I...Don't want it to happen again..." She looked down, forcing her hands together. "I don't want to get hurt again. I don't want...I don't want to see what happened with Michael happen with someone else... I still get the flashback nightmares..." She shivered just thinking about it. "Then again, I'm not much to look at anyway...Maybe he wouldn't do that then..." Her thoughts wandered, but she shook it off. "Is there someone you want to touch, then? This wouldn't happen to be big brother, would it?" She smiled slightly.

"At a school I went to once...The opening ceremony...The vice president of the student council said that when your hand feels lonely, you should hold someone else's hand. Maybe we should hold hands for now until we feel comfy holding theirs, so we won't feel lonely!"

Sayaku was red in the face still, even more so from his friend's words. "Just keep it in mind. After what happened last time...She still gets nightmares. The guy's still in jail. I don't think we need that to repeat. and as for Oliver...I really don't think some sort of kissing scene would really help matters. It'd probably just make him too nervous to go near me... And considering we share a room that'd be bad."

Joey raised his hands showing he meant no offence. His expression changed into something serious, which was very out of character. "I wouldn't touch her if she didn't want me to. I wouldn't even dare do something like..." He trailed off and shook his head, banishing those thoughts. Then expression changed back, as if the moment had never happened. He smiled slightly. "It might. Or it might give you both a chance to do something you're holding back. The boy is timid, but I think he could take a little pressure."

Olivia smiled at Flutter's reaction to the size of Joey's hands. "I know how feel, though my fears aren't as extreme." Then she whispered in a very quiet voice. "Guys scare me sometimes, too." Then she took a deep breath and looked in Flutter's eyes. "But... you can't let that rule you because even though they- we - seem intimidating it's not like they- we -mean any harm. And you shouldn't sell yourself short. You're beautiful, and don't forget it." Her face went bright red, she knew she should say no, but she didn't want to lie so instead she let a bit of the truth out. "Y-yeah. I do. But doubt he would want to touch me so... it's a moot point."

Flutter turned a light red, giggling. "It's funny the way you keep stumbling on your words. You keep fighting to say we and they...It's cute somehow." She smiled slightly, hugging the other boy from behind as if trying to get a ride, though she let go quickly. "Your hair smells nice. Like coconut...Actually, big brother's smelled like coconut yesterday. Has he been stealing your shampoo?" She giggled, smiling.

"In the television shows, they always show a girl who feels like this 'confessing'. Should i just confess to him too?" She put a finger to her chin. "I don't think Joey would be quite as...um...forceful as Michael was...At least I hope not. I'm pretty bad with figuring people out, if you haven't noticed. But...I..." she blushed, then, suddenly, threw her fist high into the air. "Okay! I'm gonna try!" She giggled, smiling before tugging on Oliver's hand. "You should try too, 'kay? Big brother seems to really like you!"

Sayaku just walked quietly. "She may not know that though. After being nearly raped by Michael, she...has a tendency to assume both at the same time..." He laughed nervously. "we both have reasons for our fears, you know. But..." He thought about it. "Last night or so...Oliver tried to help me with my fear of girls. But I got so nervous it was hard to believe. I actually thought he was a girl at that point! But... He was really cute, too...Sorta...I got all nervous from that too...Maybe I'll just spit it out...But it's sorta hard to do that...What if he's not interested in guys?" He laughed a bit, but was surprised when his sister suddenly ran up, hugging him from behind. "S-Sis! What is it?"

"I...I really need to talk to Joey. Alone. So...I wanted to ask first if it was okay!" Her face was really red. Sayaku recognized it as if it was the same as his own.

"Um..That's up to you, Joey. Not me." He looked over at Joey. "I trust you with 'er. But if you're not comfortable with it, don't just say yes, either."

Joey was stunned and for the first time he looked as if he were unsure of what to do. His confident demeanor slipped from his face and what was left was a rather shy looking boy who couldn't harm a fly. "Y-Yeah, of course I'll talk to you." He stuttered a little, but smiled at the girl. She was so adorable, he couldn't imagine anyone hurting her, and he vowed he never would. Then he looked at Saya and said, "Oh, and if you don't know something, figure it out however you can." He said, referring to what Saya had asked before Flutter interrupted.

Olivia walked up beside Saya, though she didn't look at him. His little sister's word still rang in her head. But she couldn't act on them, because eventually the truth would be out, and she was sure Saya would hate her even more if she did that.

[Juneberry]

"Well then, Joey," Sayaku said, basically ignoring the last part. "I'll take this time to go chat with Oliver while you two talk. Sis, don't cause any trouble, okay?"

"I won't!" Flutter retorted, frowning slightly at her brother's words. She watched him walk away, frowning still but much slighter. Her face was already growing darker by the minute. "Um...W-Where should we talk? It's important so..."

Sayaku walked over to Oliver, tapping his shoulder, meanwhile. "Well...Looks like those two need some time alone. Shall we talk about the play or something while we leave them be?"

Joey smiled softly. "Over here should be good." He lead her off to a nice semi-secluded spot. It was nice and would let them be alone, but not so alone that she would have any reason to fear.

Olivia jumped a little at Saya's touch, not expecting it. "Hmm? Oh, yeah, wow, that was... sudden. Either that or I'm rather slow-witted." She laughed a little, turning to look at Saya. Remembering her conversation with Flutter, her face reddened slightly. "Uh, let's go over here, we can sit down for a bit." She certainly felt like she needed to sit down, with all the blood rushing to her head.

Flutter made sure to follow as swiftly as she could heart racing faster than she could imagine. Once steady, she took a deep breath, mind blank as to how a confession worked. Thus, she instead replayed the previous conversation through words. "I've been feeling off lately. My heart rate is insane, my face burns and I get giddy and anxious whenever I'm near you, for some reason... I thought I'd need a doctor, but that's why I asked Oliver instead and..." Trailing off, she took his hand into her own, suddenly giggling. "I knew it was bigger than mine... Warm too..." The warmth of his hand seemed to force the next phrase out of her lips. "I...like you..." She didn't look at him as she spoke, nor let go of his hand. "but I'm scared..."

Sayaku tried to smile at his friend, but after confessing his interest in him to Joey, it was hard to look at him without blushing excessively. "sure... That sounds fine..."

Joey felt, warm and fuzzy, and yet sad. He knew she would be scared of him, yet it still hurt a little to have it reassured. However, he hoped one day she wouldn't be scared of him anymore. "Flutter... I like you too. And I know you're scared of me but... I would never hurt you. Those words probably don't help anything, but they're true. I... promise you that I... won't touch you. Not unless you want me too." He wanted to curl his hand around hers, to hold it securely, but he didn't move and inch. In fact he barely breathed.

Olivia sat down on a nearby bench, leaned against it and closing her eyes for a moments. She needed to think about something other than her own feelings. She opened her eyes, deciding to concentrate on Saya's feelings. "So how are you taking this? Your sis and Joey, that is."

Flutter felt her lips curl more distinctively, the words he had used making a lovely echo in her head. As if by instinct from the ecstasy of his response, she flung her arms quickly around his neck- or as close to it as she could get due to height difference. "Yay! I can't believe it... I'm so happy!" She smiled upward towards him, still blushing but not as intensely. noticing his bare breath, she frowned. "you should breath more... You'll hurt yourself if you don't breathe properly, silly."

"Mixed." Sayaku responded and sat at the same time. "Jealous, proud and somewhat frustrated and happy, all at once. I wish I had the courage to confess that they do. But... Confessing to a guy is hard. I don't wanna make something awkward..."

Joey let out a startled laugh as Flutter hugged him. He wrapped his arms loosely around her waist. Loosely because he wasn't sure if she would mind his touch. "Yeah, breathing, right. Breathing is important." He smiled at her, and then said very quietly, "I am very happy too." He gazed down at her eyes and found himself wanting to pull her closer. However, he remained still.

Olivia nodded. "Well, your her brother, so that's only natural. But Joey's a good guy. I don't think you have to worry." She closed her eyes again, holding back a bothered expression. Saya had said 'confessing to a guy' which clearly meant he wasn't interested in females, or so she assumed, which also meant he would't be interested in her.

"Yeah... I can see that being difficult. But I think if you really like him then you shouldn't have to worry to much about it. Since you'd probably be friends already, and good friends don't just... let something be awkward, right? They work through it." She told him, still not looking at him. She felt a sharp pain in her chest. Did he like someone then? Was that why he was feeling like this?

"Then...Would you get mad if I also pointed out I got jealous just a bit ago?" Sayaku still wouldn't necessarily look at Oliver, but he was starting to open up a bit about the situation. "When Joey was tugging on you like that...I know it's stupid, but I was envious and jealous all at the same time. Ugh, I still can't believe he noticed it so easily, too!"

Smiling back at Joey, Flutter pulled herself away soon after hugging him, giggling a bit. "Um...I don't know what comes next! I really only know anything based on television...So I don't know what people do after confessing..." She thought about it. "I feel sorta dumb now...I said something like that without having a plan for afterwards..."

Olivia's eyes snapped open and she turned to look at Saya. Noticing he wasn't looking at her she allowed herself to stare at him freely. Her eyes travled his face found themselves focused on his lips. 'What would it be like to kiss him?' Olivia wondered. Snapping those thoughts away from her mind she said, "Well Joey's like that, I guess. I'd almost swear he notices everything." She said, her voice carrying just a hint of nervousness. Saya had been jealous, what did that mean? After a pause she said, "You... you were jealous?" She couldn't seem to wrap the idea around her head.

Joey laughed and grinned at Flutter. "Well that all depends on what you want." Then he started to look a bit nervous. He cleared his throat. "We could... date, if you want. You know, officially as boyfriend and girlfriend, or we could just go out on a date." He brushed hair from his face.

[Juneberry]

"Um...In terms of that, I'll have to ask you a question that you may find strange, but, um..." She blushed slightly, rubbing the back of her neck to try to force the anxiety away, but instead showing it without realizing it. "What's a date?"

"Well yeah. You'd get jealous too if you saw someone clinging onto someone you like, right?" He looked at the other, but only because he had a sort of retort to say. However, upon hearing his own words, he turned deeper in color and looked away again. That was the stupidest confession I've ever stated...

Joey nodded and gazed at Flutter for a moment, noticing her nervousness. "A date is... well how should I put it... It's basically when two people who like each other go out and do something together. Like go to a movie, eat at a restaurant, or go to an amusement park. Stuff like that. You basically just go have fun with someone you like." He smiled at her gently, not bothered by her lack of knowledge on the subject.

Olivia was stunned. Saya liked her. It was a miracle, and for a few second she felt elated. Then she realized that Saya liked Oliver, the boy her. She knew she should apologize and say she couldn't return his feelings, but she didn't want to lie anymore. Couldn't he have this one truth? To know her feelings? "Saya," She said in a very soft voice and reached out her hand slowly and placed it on his. Her heartbeat raced and she could hear it's thrumming. She wondered if he could too. "I... I like you too, Saya." She blushed and looked down at her lap.

She looked at him curiously. "That sounds like fun, though. But...I used to go out to eat with big brother all the time. It's still different, right? It feels weird somehow if I think of it like that with my brother..." She shivered slightly, laughing. She smiled a bit, relieved he hadn't been bothered. "What would you like best to do then?"

Sayaku didn't look at him for a long time. He was sort of in a state of shock and haziness all in one, and the other boy's words had only escalated that. While he wasn't looking, he was clearly reacting, as his eyes were rather wide compared to before. "W-Wha..." He couldn't speak clearly, but moved his free hand to clear his throat. "Joey scares me. He guessed that too."
