I'm grammar nazi man! and I didn't do much character development because it's meant to be sort of like a one-shot

Well the thing is even with a one shot there can be character development .o.

there is some of course, you learn about the character from his decisions and inner monologues but its less than an actual story would have

Lol well I it depends on the pace of the story. If its a 6 word story then there doesn't need to be one.

And even in longer novels I guess its a stylistic choice. But since i always thought Character was the way people connected with the story, they need to be identifiable and redeemable.
