Serus frowned as Felix answered her, "I see." As the man mentioned Layla, she growled. She jumped forward, grabbing his throat and shoving him into the wall, "Where is she Markus? Tell me where she is."

She knew she promised Seth she wouldn't go, but he also told her he wouldn't. She narrowed her eyes, "Answer me or I'll force it out of you."

The man remained calm as Serus shoved him back, "Washington..."

Jaelynn snarled as she roundhouse kicked Layla back into the counter, "You can drop the innocent act Layla, I know it's you." She landed crouched on a table, "Now Seth! You have to try and burn her. It'll be hard, but I'll try to amplify your attack as well."

Layla's hair became white as she crashed through the wooden counter. She threw debris off, standing up. "You can't honestly expect victory?" Her wounds healed up almost instantly as she pulled wooden splinters from her body, "Come on, gimme your best shot."

Seth ran at Layla and grabbed her, he concentrated and threw a huge fireball at Layla. Hoping he wouldn't be hurt. After he threw the fireball he concentrated and threw a huge piece of earth at Layla knocking her back.

Jaelynn concentrated on Seth's fire, amplifying the heat and focusing it on her skin, hopefully breaking through her fire-proof barrier.

Layla grabbed onto Seth's hair as he grabbed her, pulling down hard as he tried to set her on fire, "I'm an elemental vampire you buffoon. You can't set me on fire." Suddenly she narrowed her eyes, "You! How dare you!" She threw out her other hand as the rock came her way, shattering it as it hit. "How dare you use his power against me?"

Suddenly, she felt a strange sensation on her arms. Horrified, she threw him aside as the fire started to burn her skin away, "Ahhhhh! That's not possible!" She yelled out trying to pat out the fire while she rebuilt her shield around herself.

[Bovice]

Seth saw that Layla was somewhat on fire. So he jumped up and grabbed her head with his legs and drove her head into the floor. He quickly went back on the offensive. He quickly kicked her head while she was still on the ground. Trying to keep her from healing.

Serus gasped, "The shop...she knows I'd stop by sometime." She let him go, "You'll be punished later."

She quickly gathered up her power, teleporting to outside the shop, hiding her presence from them. She quickly analyzed the minds of those inside. Layla was definitely there. He lied to me! He promised me...

Serus was enraged, but she didn't just go dropping in and laying a beat down on them all. She had to be careful. She quickly opened a link with Jaelynn, letting her fury pour through, "And when were you planning on tell me!?"

Jaelynn lunged forward to stab Layla in the heart, but suddenly Serus was in her head, causing her aim to get thrown off. She skirted past Layla crashing into the wall. She quickly stood, looking outside to see the top of Serus's hat, "Serus!" She gasped, covering her mouth. Oh no.

Layla snarled, sending her power flaring, knocking Seth away so she could stand. As she stood, she manipulated the fire to put it out, her eyes flashing red as she looked at her arms. "I will kill you both slowly and painfully!"

Serus! Jaelynn had shouted. Layla whirled around to see the pale haired vampire outside the window. "Serus! I knew she couldn't stay away." She grinned darkly, the skin already starting to heal on her arm and her skull rebuilding itself.

Layla jumped out the window, grabbing Serus by her shoulders as she tackled her, rolled, then threw her into the brick building across the street. As an added measure, she threw multiple pieces of earth at the building, sending it crumbling on top of her.

Seth got thrown through a window and crashed into the building next to Serus' cafe. He got up and saw Layla make the building fall on Serus. Seth tackled Layla and started punching her in the face. Layla kicked Seth off of her. Seth flipped in the air and landed crouching on the ground. "At least your a better fighter than Dragos was." Seth said trying to make her mad, to use against her. "Boy oh boy was he a screamer too. He was crying the whole time I was torturing him." Seth said with an evil smirk tying to get her focused on him and not Serus.

"Serus!" Jaelynn launched herself through the window, using her telekinesis to boost her across the street. She quickly tore rubble away, using her hands and her power to move scores of bricks. She uncovered the vampire quickly and pulled her out of the debris, "Serus, you alright?"

There was no response. She was unconscious. She quickly cut her hand on a jagged brick, holding it above Serus's mouth, hopefully to jump start some healing and get Serus back to consciousness.

Layla was blindsided by Seth as he came from her left. She quickly kicked him off and stood, clenching her fists, "Boy, you have no idea who you're up against." She cracked her joints, popping them back into place as she tackled Seth to the ground, her blackened claws digging deep as her icing spell began to take hold in his muscles.

Serus suddenly came to with a pounding headache. She gently placed her hands on the sides of her head with a groan, "That was..unexpected." She sat up, sensing Jaelynn nearby, "You! You two lied to me! I can't believe you! Why?! You lied about everything!"

Her rage rose, causing her power to lash out at Jaelynn, knocking her back on her butt, "I can't believe you! I will deal with you two later!" She stood, quickly tackling Layla and knocking her off Seth, both of them rolling a few feet down the street.

Seth felt his muscles start to freeze. He wanted to scream out but he didn't want Layla to know he was in pain. Serus tackled Layla off of Seth he laid there healing his muscles. He saw Serus and Layla roll around on the ground. He saw Layla finally on top so he stopped them using telekinesis. He ran up to her still holding his concentration. He kicked Layla in the stomach making her fly off of Serus.

Layla was sent sliding along the ground, getting severe road rash. She quickly rolled to her feet, her entire body suddenly starting on fire, "I am through dicking around Serus." She lifted her hand, a jet of flame rocketing towards Serus and Seth.

"Move it Seth!" she quickly did a kip-up, forcefully pushing him across the street as Layla sent the ball of fire their way. She didn't know how 'fire proof' he was at this point, and couldn't risk it. She quickly crouched down to the ground, erecting her telekinetic shield around herself.

White hot flames engulfed her form, which was thankfully protected for the time being. The air inside the bubble was beginning to get extremely hot, but Serus had to keep it up.

Layla snarled, manipulating the fire, forming a tornado of pure white fire around Serus, "You can't stay in there forever Serus! Soon it'll be too hot!"

Seth was knocked away as Serus was engulfed in flames. "Serus!" Seth yelled as he was thrown back from the power of the fire tornado. Seth got up and concentrated and pulled in water from the atmosphere starting to form a water tornado, after the tornado got big enough he sent it to Layla's tornado. Hopefully cooling off Serus in her little bubble. While still concentrating Seth ran at Layla to stop her. He side kicked her in the abdomen hopefully breaking a few of her ribs.

Serus had to think quickly. She could feel the air temperature fluctuating back and froth. Her shield was taking a beating from the two tornadoes, and soon it would break. She could already feel it cracking. A section broke away, white fire pouring in. Serus screamed, quickly jumping out away from the tornado.

In her haste, she tripped, rolling on the street and loosing her hat somewhere in the gutter, cutting her leg on a piece of wood. She quickly stood, ready for another attack while her leg healed. Thankfully, she wasn't burned too badly, just a bit of singing here and there on her arms.

Layla fell to her knees as Seth kicked out, his foot just barely skirting her head. Then she heard Serus scream as her shield had broken, "Finally!" She moved to her feet, crouched, and jumped forward, a small trail of fire following after her as she moved to tackle Serus. "It must suck, not being able to withstand fire."

Seth was knocked back as Layla took off. Seth got up and ran at Layla to get her off of Serus. When he got close he got knocked back and thrown into a building. He almost got knocked out. Seth watched wanting to help.

Jaelynn tried to knock Layla away, by going to tackle her form the side, but like Seth, she was pushed back by a telekinetic blast. She crashed into Seth, knocking them both to the ground. The force was so strong, it nearly knocked her out.

Layla took Serus to the ground, her clothes and hair quickly catching fire as her hands grabbed her shoulders. "It's been fun my dear, but all good thing must end." She gave a wink and gave Serus a kiss on the cheek, "It is a shame though..you had such potential."

Serus screamed for a moment until she was forced to manipulated her nerves to stop sending the signals. She glared at Layla, her hands grabbing her shoulders and pulling her downward, "See you soon."

Serus's body began to convulse and writhe as the fire spread rapidly and burned her thoroughly. It wasn't long until there was nothing left. The flames that Layla could generate were hot enough to char the bone, and eventually the pressure of everyday gravity would crush them.

Layla stood slowly with a grin. The flames surrounded her body slowly dwindled down as she sent a gust of wind at the ashes, scattering them across the city. She couldn't help but laugh slightly at the sight. Victory was hers.

Seth looked at Layla as she killed Serus. "SERUS!!!!!" Seth yelled as he ran to attack Layla. He tackled Layla "You fucking bitch how dare you kill Serus." He said as he started to punch Layla in the face. "I will fucking kill you like I killed Dragos." Seth said as he grabbed Layla's neck and snapped it. Knowing that that would not kill her.

"I will cut your heart out and I will eat it." Seth said as he grabbed three knifes from his back. He stabbed one through Layla's right hand nailing it to the concrete, and through her left hand also nailing it to the concrete. "Now you will die you fucking bitch." Seth said as he jabbed the third knife through Layla's chest.

In one fluid movement he sliced from her chest all the way to her navel. He grabbed her heart out of her chest, and threw it on the ground. Seth then took the knife and stabbed it in Layla's neck slicing all around her neck. Since her neck was broken he was able to sever her head easier. "Now you are in hell." Seth said as he got up and started to torch Layla's dead body.

As Layla's body was burning Seth walked over to where Serus' hat was. He leaned down and grabbed it. He stood up but quickly fell to the ground sobbing.

Jaelynn was in complete shock. Her legs buckled beneath her, her knee caps shattering as she hit the cement. Tears streamed down her cheeks and her body shook with heavy sobs. How could this have happened? Serus just couldn't be dead.

After a moment, she stood up, calm and content. She took a breath, composing herself. It was done, there was nothing that could be done to change it. "Seth?" She went over, kneeling down and placing a hand on his shoulder. "Seth..." She frowned, unsure of what to say or do.

"I... Can't... Believe... She's... Dead..." Seth said in between sobs. "What is gonna happen now?" Seth asked Jaelynn who's was now next to him. "We need to be strong its what she would want." Seth said as he stood up still holding Serus' hat. Seth looked up at the sky, looking at the moon.

"Jaelynn I need to go away. I can't stay here, I need to go looking for someone to teach me more about the elements." Seth said as he turned to Jaelynn. "I don't know when I'll be back." He said as he gave her a hug and walked down the street.
