OHHC! <33 I ADORE that series. Although I shun the English version of the anime. Hoooolly cow, they butchered the voices.

I actually Liked the voices I go back and forth from the english and japanese version of the anime and the voices tend to match the character to me.. I was surprised Greg did so well on the one Hitachin Twin.. =w= he normally plays the role of a sissy boy.. but he was perfect as a prankster <3

I just didn't care for Tamaki's english voice actor xp that was the only one I didn't like..

Monica did Awesome for Renge x3 so annoying and... annoying x'D (hard to believe she did Jo's voice from Burst Angel)

Aaah, I think Greg Ayres was probably the only one I liked. Well, I'm like, fangirl of Greg Ayres. I love any voice that he does. And it's so distinctive! I loved him as Chrono from Chrono Crusade and he did an AMAZING Goku from Saiyuki. It made me sooo sad when they change the voice actors for Saiyuki. Goku just got annoying after the switch. Lex Lang as Sanzo was sort of neat, but Lex wouldn't be the first person I would think of as Sanzo...

Wow, talk about diverging from the subject of conversation. XD

I did not feel he fit the role of Goku... none of the english characters from Saiyuki did I like.. To me Greg made Goku sound.. off to me.. but thats the only character of his i didn't like him as. then again the change of dialog and lack of making him sound like he was suppose to.. was probably the reason.

He did awesome in Evangelion (from what I could watch of it) xD


I'm very picky about how a character should sound.. =w= I go by how their persona's are like and then how old they look/are. and other things.. and american's messing up the characters personalities when translating doesn't help me much in my love for the english versions x'D

I haven't see him in that series (I have seen or read that series at all. =P So much I need to read but don't have time). I did like him as Heimdall in Loki: Mythical Detective, but I never did see the end of that one.

And really? I thought hw was at least better than his replacement in Reload and Gunlock Reload. That Goku and Hakkai were annoying. D; And they changed EVERYONE's voices. I was all having fun with Greg as Goku and Hilary Hagg as Liri, but that duo got killed. They were amazing together as Rosette and Chrono.

I just like to know what the words mean.

I usually put on the subtitles on even when I am watching a DVD in English to make sure I don't miss anything.

I do that for everything, not just anime, heehee. I'm partially deaf in one of my ears so it's just easier for me to read as well as hear.

I can hear OK, it's just that sometimes they go so fast or mumble that I can miss something.

It can get a little annoying to try to back up the DVD to listen again.

I didn't like the english for the first 2 seasons I refused to watch any of it in english x'D *pets DVDs* I can't wait to see the OVA's to come out *has the AVI fansubs on the Desktop* *^*


but now I have to watch Loki in english x'D I wanna hear greg as Lokiii <3

Greg was Heimdall, someone else played Loki. =P The series was brilliant or anything. Cute, but not the best thing.

Angel, everyone in my family is like that, so the TV is on constant subtitles, lol.

I watched the whole thing in Japanese and loved it.. which one was Heimdall again? o.O the son the snake dude?

Heimdall was the purple haired one. I remember him with the birds the most. I think. I never got to finish. =(
