All of it is Factoring.
These two are zero-product property. (x+5)(x-0)=0 (2x+1) squared (Sorry, my boyfriend just walked into the room and I got distracted >.<) « ☼ ☾ ✰ » Semi-Active.

FACTORING. *A*
I LOVE factoring. >u< The first one I haven't done before. ono (2x+1)² ... do you just need helping solving it ? I can do that. nighty's sig in under construction.

Yes I need the steps on how to solve it and possibly an answer to one of those so I can possibly figure out how to do the other one. There is an =0 at the end of the second one as well.

Well, solving for x on the second one is easy.
2x + 1 = 0 * the reason why there is only one equation is because x is the same for both, seeing as 2x+1 is squared. Subtract one. 2x = -1 Divide by two. x = -1/2 The other one would be done similarly. Set both equal to zero. x+5=0 and x-0=0 You'd subtract five for the first one and add zero on the second to get x=-5 and x=0. nighty's sig in under construction.
