"I'm not some little kid you have to look out for." Cy said. "I'm a powerful spellweaver in a twisted fantasy world that battles demonic creatures the likes of which you've never seen in your most intense nightmares. I'm disciplined, powerful, knowledgeable and- above all other things -respected."

[Uke]

"Sorry..." Arashi whispered meekly, tensing up as if he was expecting to be hit, even though players couldn't hit each other in town.

[Mint]

Cyprian was quiet a moment before he sighed.

"Don't get fooled by the others." He warned. "Ukeru gets away with stuff because...well...we were all in the beta together and...you don't know...only the right stuff came outta that. We weren't just testing the game, we were testing the equipment and everything. You said there were six, but there's only five now...right?"

[Uke]

"Yeah," Arashi said out loud, before he realized that Cy had been talking to him privately and he quickly willed his own responses to be in private. "Yes, I remember saying that."

[Mint]

"Enough said." Cy replied flatly. "And you're not replacing them either."

[Uke]

"I... I wouldn't imagine I was," Arashi breathed, frowning even more. "I mean... I wouldn't want to... and I don't think I am, I..."

[Mint]

"Good, because you can't." Cyprian said firmly. "Now...what's your current level?"

He seemed eager to change the subject.

[Uke]

"Nineteen," Arashi breathed - just as eager. "Huntress said at 25 I change jobs... I've been researching all day and I decided to go Monk, since they are better suited to heal aoe mages."

[Mint]

"...You have an AOE mage partner somewhere?" Cy stopped and turned to Arashi.

[Uke]

Arashi's cheeks turned pink. "Well, no... but you complained that all the previous healers you'd level'd with were idiots and didn't know how to properly heal an AOE mage. A-and on top of that-!" He tried to save himself, tensing up once more. "AOE mages level the fastest, so becoming a healer for one seemed to be the most appropriate coarse of action. They require healers, as well, to do their best AOEs, yet Monks are the rarest forms of healers in The Game... no one tries to go that class because its so hard. So... I would be in demand..."

[Mint]

"...Do you know that ability Chakra?" Cy asked.

[Uke]

"That level 35 one that restores both HP and MP, though not in large amounts, but is significantly better once skill points are added and it levels?" Arashi asked, trying to remember.

[Mint]

"Not to mention that when a mage learns the ability Half MP that halves the cost of their spells, Chakra is suddenly far more effective." Cyprian added. "Even the small amount of MP it restores, enables Mages with that ability continue casting spells."

[Uke]

"What about the 55 skill, Link Chakra, which allows a mage to use a monk's MP as well as their own, dividing the cost in half?" Arashi practically burst, feeling extremely geeky but at the same time excited to be sharing an interest with the other.

[Mint]

"The Monk is potentially the hardest class to master, but when you focus them to augment the abilities of someone else rather than how powerful you can make the monk individually is where it's potential shines." Cyprian nodded. "That's the thing...monks are a support class disguised as stand-alone."

[Uke]

"When I was reading up on the skills I fell in love with the class," Arashi admitted. "Being able to support another class like that... someone on the forums said that with a good monk and a good Warlock, you could take out the highest level boss with only those two players."
