Heehee. I tried to go vegetarian, but it didn't quite work out. At the time, though, I wasn't in a good position to change my diet, I think. Not enough protein and essential nutrients with the only non-meat foods we can afford. Being poor sucks, lol.

How is Rose tonight?

Korean food is always yummy. <3 Except the octopus tentacle stew...that's....just creepy.

Amen, DK. We've been living off food stamps the past couple months and I've gained weight from all the crap we've had to eat. XP Generic brands are cheaper, but still not that much better for ya. XP

Yeah, grandma eats some really weird stuff. I only eat what I can identify. *shudders* Before I was old enough to speak for myself, they'd feed me tiny dried anchovies like chips. Like, the whole thing. I have an aversion to seafood thanks to that. *whimpers*

What is jasmine rice?

I'm on iron pills and I'm supposed to eat red meat at least once a week.... I don't even like beef.... Unless it's a hamburger... *smiles*

Jasmine rice is a kind of rice. It's quite a bit more aromatic and much tastier then basmati. It what you would get from an asian restaurant where the basmati is more or less you're standard rice. I think!

Yes! I will get this dang stuff done. Rar!

I grew up on food stamps and having to go to health clinics. Still have to go to health clinics. But lifes okay. Life is mostly okay. :)

I've grown up on them too. Food stamps and when we had some extra, a little bit more with money-money. XP But hey, it's food. I'm glad for my family, even through ups and downs, so I think I'd rather grow up poor and with love than rich and with hate.
