OMG, essays make me rage. Particularly ones assigned by mean, incapable teachers who need to be reminded that, hey, I have 6 other, equally important, classes. And she doesn't even teach. Only three people passed her last test. Out of the entire senior CLASS. That's 400 students. 3. Out of 400. Something's not right. [/rant]

My 18th century lit class. The teacher is not with it but it's hard to be angry with her as her mother is dying of cancer. Friday, she emails us that she's gone to Seattle and isn't sure what's going on with class. Says she'll email us before class monday. Haven't gotten that email yet..

Oh, eeep. =( That really does suck about her mom. Although, I know from experience, there is a lot of waiting around and trying to find something to do with your time when with someone who is dying of cancer. I remember with my grandfather. I didn't want to think about his cancer so I really did a heck of a lot of schoolwork. So I'm sort of surprised she hasn't emailed you guys. =( But I guess maybe she's handling it differently. I hope things go okay for her.
