Trying to prove video games don't corrupt children is surprisingly hard actually.

Taiki :: Thank you. 8D <3

Chi :: Hmm, you should quote something from that book, the one about how video games are good. I forgot the name of it haha.

Parents buy their 10-17 year old kids Rated M game all the time. I see it. I have to sell it them (the parents). D8

This one lady bought her son a 007 game and I told her straight up that it was a shooting game and she didn't care. Like half an hour later she came back to return it for a Sonic game cuz she actually looked at the game she bought and thought it was too violent. .__.;

@ Duchess, WUT! D8 *points back* You're the bad influence! xDDD

Pffft what an idiot. xD
At least she was smart enough to actually look at the game though... other parents just buy their kid a game and let them do whatever. D:

Yes Taiki! You shouldn't be such a bad influence around us minors! U8<

Well on the topic at hand... i agree. Parents just hear their child ranting and raving about some awesomely graphically violent game.... and just buy it for them because "that's what the wanted for their birthday/christmas/whatever"

My father is guilty of that.. he just didn't care back in the day. Frequently getting me things older than my age because his daughter is just soooo grown up. She can handle it |D

To my credit... yeh i can |3 But it's still BAD PARENTING!

Heck... i watched a movie with him when I was younger... and all I could remember was FLOATING TITS IN A HOT TUB @.@

R-Rated much?

Duchey :: - nods -
I think I found out about all of that mature stuff pretty early but I don't think I saw things way too early...? I just don't want my kids to be seeing tons of sex and violence when they haven't even started puberty yet.
There are so many grade school kids who know about EVERYTHING. It's ridiculous. D:

Taiki :: Pfffft how am I a bad influence? > w>;

17 doesn't mean shet, Duchess.
Good luck with that one, lmao.

My grandmother saw her niece buy a M rated game for her -10 son.
By -10 I mean he's not 10 yet.
I want to say it was Fallout, or maybe it was uh Call of Duty.
They didn't think anything of it because his dad is in the military and had been like since he was born... ._.

Omg that's crazy. D:
Both Fallout and Call of Duty are waaaaaay violent. Blood and shit everywhere.
I would definitely not buy my one digit age kid a game like that,
They can play Pokemon instead. xD
