Rose :: Well that drawing was an assignment. Crimes against nature. You don't see the theme in that pic because it's only a small piece of the drawing but ya.
I typically don't like assignments but I just take it and make it into something I want to do. ^^

Heh I actually want to do like an abstract expressionism painting sometime. Just need to find the time and the space AND the paint to do it. xD
I wonder if my art teacher would oppose to me using up tons of paint to do one haha.

we had to do like clip abstract and like drawings with shapes type of stuff and my art teacher said anime wasn't real art .__.; i was like what id like you to go in japan and say that you'd get mugged she was VERY old school >.<

Ugh ya I hate when people talk bad about things like anime and animation and cartoons. I agree when teachers say you need to learn realism and such, because you do. But I do not agree that cartoons/anime/etc is not real art. It is.
Of course not all of it is done WELL but that could be said about all kinds of art. And when it's done right things like anime are really beautiful. D:
Take Hayao Miyazaka for example... his animation is anime, but it is gorgeous and amazing and he is a master animator. D8

yeah i know i tried to tell her this, heck i want to take a college class in realism or anatomy so i can improve .__. someone said once to make your own style you have to learn basic anatomy then you can mess it up how you please or work it to your own style
