The thing I hate is most schools make it so you have to be 30 hours or more to be a sophomore then 60+ to be a junior, it's stupid.
Considering my school only lets you have 16. :/
Most people only get 13 or so a semester.

The only thing my adviser did was tell me to call her if I had trouble. When I did, she couldn't help me.
I had to call the head of the science department or whatever to get into Physics.

My advisor was head of department, so maybe
just rely on her to get you placed into classes <3

Undergraduates don't have a specific adviser here.
I could end up having multiple advisers.

I guess it's because we have so many students.
At my old school we had specific advisers who actually knew us, knew us.
They weren't just, "So you're <name>, <student ID>, and your degree is <degree>" blah blah blah, all that impersonal stuff.
