It might be that it just looks similar to how I draw. I love your style. Do you use flash or illustrator to make those? I used to use them a lot so my stuff would be in vectors and I could resize them...
@mew, I'll be sure to stick around, you're charity looks amazing already... Though familiar, you're both quite original, and it's nothing but complements from me... Your style is very adorable and I like your color choices. I also like how detailed it is for being that small...

xD I draw them in photoshop... I'm not very good with vectors. I draw them really large and resize them. O: And thanks! Do you have a deviant art or anything where I could see your art? C:

Sadly no, I lost a lot of my work when I left a job. i had no time to get it off of their computer and save them. :( And most of my new stuff I either don't scan or I don't submit. I have a da, but it's old and there's literally only one thing on it... I'm trying to remedy this, but as of right now I'm artless...
I usually have to resize in photoshop too. I start so large and then I end up with something so small... I mostly do graphics more than characters or other traditional art or anything though...

Yeah, I went to college for it, but they didn't teach very well. The school phased out the printing department completely and just focused on web design, which I never wanted to do. So I'm transferring to a better school where I can take screenprinting, which is what I really wanted.
I learned the basics of graphic design, but we already knew most of it. The freaking woman that teaches our digital photography class, which is supposed to cover photoshop, was in our photoshop class and we were all better at it than her!!! I had to tutor her and show her how to make almost all of her projects, then when I went into the digital photo class, you should have seen the look on my face when I realized she taught it... But anyway, yeah. I worked at a print shop for two years and now I do freelance work and stuff for my fiance's film company.

Wow, that's awkward. xDDD; The whole teacher being in your class. >o>
That sucks about your school though. D: I went to an amazing school, but the student loans are killing me. @o@ That's really cool that you work in screen printing. I was kind of interested in doing that kind of thing. xP

Yeah, I wanted to scream. I ended up dropping that class and transferring to a better school...
I don't work in screen printing, that's what I want to go into for my new major. I never got to learn it because they got rid of it right before I started there. I had to teach it to myself when my boyfriend wanted some shirts made and I didn't work at the print shop yet. I did make shirts and other assorted items at the print shop with sublimation printers and spectra on a vinyl plotter. That's what I needed to learn Illustrator and vector art for. The plotter will cut out vinyl for tshirts and decals of anything you can draw or create as long as it's a vector. I have a jacket with the entire first level of super mario on it that took forever to hand "weed" which means pealing back the parts you don't want on the shirt. I've made band shirts, college logos, video game stuff, movie quotes, band decals, patches, etc... tons of christmas presents.... -Luckily I was too poor and was put in the bracket for grants and I never got loans. My fiance, however, has a higher income and he's got to pay back a ton of loans... His mom is still paying her own back... fail...

That thing started out as a stress release and then the strips just kept getting longer and longer. @o@ And people started "judging" it and I was like wtf.
