Zero made a noise before he winced a bit and shook his head, trying to explain with his hands why he was.

"He probably forgot!" Trick told his brother. "Remember? His memories are all wonky!"

"I'm taking you someplace safe." Far assured.

Zero eyed far silently, before he looked at Trick, frowning.

Trick blinked up at him before he gasped and quickly nodded. "Yeah, you know him! Don't worry! He's like... practically your husband!"

"We haven't married yet, I didn't want to press Zero into something that might seem confining." Far replied before wiping his forehead.

"You two were living together." Treat murmured- rubbing his arms- as if to wipe something off his sleeves.

Zero looked a little surprised and looked toward Far for a moment, before he frowned a little.

"Far!" Trick cried, practically scrambling into he front seat. "Zero hurt his throat and they said he wont be able to talk again!"

Far blinked before looking at Trick.

"...The doctors said that?" Far asked.

"H-he screamed...before he screamed." Treat said- looking at Zero. "You're not gonna scream again are you?"

Zero shook his head, frowning and motioning to his throat to indicate that it hurt.

"He screamed lots and lots when there was a tube in his mouth," Trick attempted to explain. "And it made it all hurt and broken..."

"Huh, a tube?" Far frowned. "What kinda tube?"

"With air in it!" Trick cried. "Because... oh my gosh, Zero-!" He turned toward the Asian teen. "Didn't you get stabbed-!"

Zero's eyes widened.

"A breathing tube?" Far blinked. "Who stabbed him?"

"There was air in the tube, dummy!" Trick snapped at his brother, obviously getting frustrated trying to explain things that he himself didn't understand. "It was cuz he couldn't breathe himself-! It was in his throat and he screamed and it... hurt him-!"

He groaned, wrapping his arms around his knees and hugging himself.
