No he didn't and apparently something I said when I was in hysterics saved his life. So he told me he was about to give up when he was going into surgery but some one snuck the phone in and let me talk to him and apparently my yelling at him "Whose going to walk me down the isle on my wedding day" made him want to live.

And there is a minor development in the lungs and a larger infected area around his spine. They said they could control the spinal one with... radiation? Some kind of laser/screening thing, not sure. But he's 85, so I don't know if he's willing to go through with it.
