well maybe tell him that it's not a relationship an that you just want to be friends with him ? i mean the truth can be hard but it's not like he'll abandon you .. if he's a true friend he'll understand anyway.

ever tried looking for someone you care about or think that you could form a relationship with? cause it sounds like your not really that into this guy besides to keep from being lonely.. an trust me i know how that one is.
