well they are little silver or gold balls.. an in truth your not suppose to eat them because they really have silver or gold dust covering them for the color though the inside is sugar. >.>; but in order for you to get sick from they i think you'd have to ingest so many that you'd get sick from the sugar first Dx

but in a lot of states they are banned :( because California threw a hissy fit that you could get sick off of them an it was even brought up in court at how many containers of these things youd have to eat Dx let alone a cake or cookie is never covered in them anyway they were more of a edge decoration xP

BD;. You would be surprised at how many food items have the gold on them. Heck, there's even an alcoholic drink with gold flakes in it. I don't think metals are digestible, but probably the chemicals used to mine them are still present and 'those' are what's dangerous for sure.

true but they did do a test on them an you'd have to eat nothing but the dragees for months on end to get sick xD

an yeah i heard about that drink theres a icecream somewhere you can buy that gets sprinkled with gold dust o.O it's like i wish i had that much money to just eat gold Dx
