They are divines in disguise. =o=;
But I hear divines are battling them as well, so maybe it's work of Neutrals to try and stop the war? O: ~ Hello, I am Sadrain, a ghost Caracal, but you can call me Rainy. Shadow's Servant

Azeil grunted a bit when he woke and slowly sat. His body was sore, but his wounds were healed more or less. His tattooed shadows had lightened considerably once more, small, intricate tendrils swirling around his body. He started to run his hand through his hair but paused as he felt blood. It reminded him of what happened.
Closing his eyes, he sighed and laid back again for a moment. Where am I? he wondered, but soon decided that he didn't particularly care. Something about it was warm and comfortable... and he knew he wasn't with his Goddess. It couldn't be /completely/ bad. Happening upon that conclusion, he sat up once more, opening his dark eyes to look about the room.

Zephyr had been up for a while now, after all, morning had come and gone. The sun was high in the sky, giving more warmth to the interior of the tent as the rays beat down on it's outer shell. The woman had her legs folded beneath her, her arms on her knees and her eyes closed. She was sitting on the floor and appeared to be in some kind of meditative state. Her right ear twitched as the newcomer grunted, the sound knocking her out of her concentration. She opened her eyes, the golden hues focusing on the source of the sound. Zephyr leaned forward a little as she watched him shift around. A sly smirk crossed her lips before she parted them to speak.
"Good, you're awake." The lids of her eyes fell half way, giving her an owlish kind of look as she peered at him through the half lidded state. She straightened again, her back cracking from the pressure before she unfolded her legs, coming to her knees before standing and brushing herself off. "You can shower after we talk, I'm sure you'll need one." She wasn't commenting on any odor, but rather, he had been delivered to her in the middle of the night, all beat up. Even though his wounds had been more or less healed, he still look like he lost a fight with a lawn mower.

Azeil just sort of sighed a bit. He was usually a very clean person, and, frankly, didn't care for blood, much less his own. In a sense, he had lost a battle with a lawn mower, except it'd been completely one-sided.
"Wonderful, thanks," he said, but without a hint of sarcasm in his voice. A shower sounded great. While there may be no sarcasm, there wasn't much gratefulness either, despite the fact that he clearly meant his words. For a moment he wasn't sure if he was supposed to stand or not, but ended up pushing himself to his feet, not quite as gracefully a he normally would move, though. He may be healed, but he was still sore and weaker than typical.

She continued to watch him move around and only chuckled at his response. Zephyr, while not knowing the whole story of his plight, she wasn't completely unaware, and definitely didn't expect any gratuitous remarks. When he forced himself to a stand, her smirk vanished, as she could better see his body as he moved around. She shook her head slowly.
"One of my Captains brought you here last night. She's not one for playing the messenger, so to speak, so it was highly unusual. Especially to bring someone from the divinity side in relatively one piece, back here." Indeed it was unusual, for Asura is typically one to tear things to pieces rather than bring them back like a cat presenting a mouse to it's master. "She said it was Ascellus' handy work. Apparently she found you laying around. I don't care much if you trust me or not, especially since this is the encampment for the Order of the Corrupt. Nor do I know the whole story, so perhaps you can explain."

"I got that impression of her," he said, but he didn't seemed annoyed by it, if anything, somewhat amused. He didn't like being the one to spill actual blood if he could avoid it (perhaps why he was supposed to be a spy), but he did not dislike others doing so.
He knew the woman wanted answers, and he just sort of sighed. "I was punished, obviously," he said, "for doing as my General asked of me." He shrugged like it was no big deal, but it was clear that it made him mad, that the Goddess would punish for such, in his mind, silly reasons. He knew that she knew what they were like when she appointed them, and yet they are punished for, well, being themselves. It angered him.

The look on her face, with the half cocked brow clearly gave a sort of 'what the hell' vibe. She was neither amused, nor impressed. What sort of God punished people for following orders? She closed her eyes and brought her left hand up to pinch at the bridge her nose while sighing.
"This is stupid..." Zephyr trailed off, annoyance in her voice. "If anything I would expect punishment for insubordination, not the other way around." Opening her eyes again, she let her hand drop to her hip to look at him with a serious expression. "This may seem a stupid question, but are you interested in revenge? If you are, I'm sure I can help you out, though I'd expect something in return. Here we don't particularly care who the hell you are, so long as you do what you're told and kill as many as you can. Fairly simple, even if behind the scenes is far more complex."

Killing wasn't particularly his scene, but it was better than the other way around, he figured. It was a somewhat stupid question, though, as Asura had asked him already. "I've been asked and the answer hasn't changed," he said with a small nod, "I am."
Granted he was leaving out just what his orders had been, but regardless, orders were orders in his mind, and Fenrir had been his superior. "I'd of course not expect a free ride." That was silly to think no matter how he tried to twist it.

"Hm."
It was a thoughtful kind of sound. Of course, she had no way of knowing if he'd been asked anything by Asura considering the condition she had brought him in, but his answer gave it away. Her head cocked to the side while her ears twitched in thought. "What are your assets? You don't strike me as the blood and thunder type. And I have more than enough of those." Zephyr straightened up then walked around the pit where the fire had long since died to get to the other side. Once in front of him, she folded her arms loosely across her chest. She wasn't being intimating, more relaxed than anything else. Unlike most people, her back was unusually straight so it was more comfortable for her to stand in this manner. "Either way, I'm sure we can find some use for you. Though your wings make you stand out like a sore thumb around here. I suggest you use those shadows of yours to your advantage. The troops are always raring for fresh blood."

"Just because it is not my preference to kill does not mean I'm incapable of it," he said simply. He would cross his own arms, but he had a tendancy to accidentally cut himself with his nails. During more peaceful times he kept his nails short and fairly dull, but he couldn't do that right now.
"I can give you information, though, any that I know," he said, "Feed false information." He watched the General. He didn't want to return to his own camp, yet he was sure it could be towards the Corrupts' advantage. "My transporting abilities may also be useful." He could take others with him. Humans weren't the best idea to do so with, but.... it was within his abilities.

"I see.. Well, I won't be able to trust you right away, so I will be keeping an eye on you, whether you know it at the time or not. In the meantime, I have some things to think over."
With a nod she moved over to the door to un-ward it so that he could leave and go about his business, whether it was to wash up, or rest, whatever the case may be. "I suppose the first thing that would be prevalent would be your name. After that, basic information about yourself. Later on, I'll have a few questions that I'll need to ask, though, I'm sure your general may notice you missing. While it may seem cruel to send you back to the place where you were left in the condition you were, I'm not about to be the one responsible for making things worse. So you're free to come and go as you please."

"Azeil," he said, "Servant of the shadows, born of them." He made a slight bowing motion. One thing he could not make the choice to do was to change the colour of his wings, and he just kept them folded against his back tightly. It seemed reasonable to send him back to where he'd come from, although...
"The Goddess should not know of my absence, correct?" he asked, remembering what the woman had said the day prior, hiding him from her... he hoped so. Looking upon Zephyr for a moment, he simply nodded. "You... should be able to summon me back should you so need to." It was more a hunch than anything. He could usually tell.
