I mean...probably around half of my potential reads are gonna be 500+ page reads, so yeah...for sure nothing wrong with the shorter reads. The current ones are to knock out difficult Bookworms challenges and get them out of the way. And later, they'll be great filler to boost book count but also as breaks between big/"heavy" reads.

i'm making my way through The Hunger Games. this is my first time reading it, and i haven't seen the movies....i'm having an idea how some of the things could work out, so no one tell me. XD

Ohhh, first time read on that series? I'm interested on what your opinions are!
Just finished re-reading the full series for the first time since it came out. I think my feelings about the books and movies are the same in that, I can read and watch the first one over and over, and occasionally the second as well, but I just...don't care for the third (and fourth with the movies) as much. Not that it's/they're bad, just that it...kinda gets weird in a way that I have a hard time caring about? I don't know. It's hard to explain.

Also...added a little bookworms challenge counter to help keep track of those...and updated the reading list. Am at 10 books done with 9 counting for bookworms challenges.

Yay rereading counts! Yeah that makes sense besides sometimes I have been able to notice things I didn't notice the first time when re-reading.

Yeah I used to read to my cats a lot. My family wanted me to be a teacher and so I would practice reading to the cats. They would sit around me or lay on my lap and I'd show them pictures from the books if there were any. I usually picked books about cats for them, however, I think my senior cat has become picky and really likes super hero stuff... not sure if I can complete with the tv.
