I can understand what cats say. And they insist on saying it to me too, even when they're ferals who usually only can stand their own person.

Trystan: Too true! Batty especially is very chatty, though I only know what he's saying when it's food time.

Tam:....kinda yeah. I mean, it's a bit bigger than I'd probably actually want. I'd more likely want something that's big enough to sit across my shoulders (I want more dragons that can sit on my shoulders...I have one already, but I need more dragons. ALL the dragons!) rather than small body pillow sized if I'm honest. But it's still really cool.

Animals can tell when someone's a good person. I had a similar experience with my waifu's shy, skittish cat. She tolerates my presence whenever I'm in the same room as her, and doesn't go and hide. On occasion, she'll even let me pet her for a few pets. Her more outgoing brother likes to climb me like a tree.

LOL That's adorable. This little booger was playing with me. Her human mom was gobsmacked. And I was just sitting there quietly showing off and being friends wit the kitty.

Apparently, the ability to understand what critters are saying could be an autistic thing. I've learned recently about a lady named Temple Grandin, who did something similar.

But anyhow. Speaking of kitties, that's the latest thing I'm crocheting.

I worked on crocheting the kitten today. Found out the kit (for two matching kittens) has two different kinds of eyes! Weird. Also checked yarn to see if I have enough for another mushroom sprite.
