Don't Go Into The Light

On mobile, in landscape mode the bottom part of the left panel gets cropped. Also, it's been harder to zoom in and out, like only certain parts of the page let you grab it to zoom. Have tried different browsers.

I see what you mean. The main part that has difficulties with pinch zooming, as far as I can tell, is the item list on the left.
I'll see if I can tinker with it to have it work properly but in essence, that happens because you can drag & drop that list, so when you try to pinch it grabs one of the things under your finger. It's a bit fiddly, I know, but if you can put your fingers down outside the list, it should work. Also, if there's somewhere outside of the equipped list on the left that has trouble, please let me know, because I can't find it.

Yeah, it's challenging trying to figure out what parts are working. Sorry I can't help much in determining which areas do and don't.
So far, even outside the equipped list, the pinch and zoom doesn't always work. Like the forum tab area or white space on the very bottom of the page. I can't really find a consistent spot where it does work, but part of the time it will work. It's hard to tell where my fingers are hitting when I try to see exactly where it does and doesn't work. The zooming works fine when not on the avatar editor. That's with chromium based browsers, The zooming works a bit better in the newest version of Firefox for Android, but it's a bit sluggish and the top right header avatar has a black background on the editor page. Here's an example of the equipped side being cropped:

I should be able to fix the cutoff. Thanks for the image. :)
As for the zoom issue, I'm not sure on that one. I can't reproduce it on my devices I use. What kind of phone/tablet is it?

Tried it on a Samsung S5 and S10 and it happened for both. Also occurs with browsers using the webview engine.

Oh dear, that's not good. Let me see if I can reproduce that.
Can you describe the issue you're having?

using firefox, are the closet slots saved in cookies? -- that might be an issue if people are using the, uh. several privacy options that firefox has built-in.
can't quite remember which ones i'm using or how to make an exception. percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.

No, closet slots are saved on the server. I use cookies to save preference options (so that you can use different things on, say, your phone). Fairly certain that isn't blocked by Firefox's privacy stuff, though. If they did, Firefox would break most of the internet.
Also, I primarily use Firefox, so that's what I test with most of the time.

hm. yeah, that makes sense as to why only preferences stuff would be saved in a cookie.
i'm not too sure what could be causing it, given that i tried to save a different avatar a few days ago. mind you, i could be selecting the wrong options. quick edit: it works, it just doesn't show anything for some reason -- probably due to the amount of items that are in that avatar that i saved. lord. percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.

Oh! Yes, that could be an issue. I hadn't thought about that.
You are saving many thousands of items, after all. The saved avatar that shows up on the top of the page is a single image, but in the editor, it collects every individual item and piles them on. The closet previews are, effectively, exactly the same as the main editor avatar. Just...different data. So, the closet just stays blank when you try to save?

yeah, seems to do that. i'm testing it out with the current avatar rather than having a metric crap tonne of items on.
edit: of note, equipping an avatar causes some weird behaviour. i'll grab a screenshot. percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.

here we go.
first image is after clicking off of the avatar editor, it'll stay on-screen and be able to be interacted with. percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.
