Thanks. Last pizza I had was a few days ago, and it was...a few days old. I was...really depressed, and kept not being arsed to or just plain forgetting to shove it in the fridge :|

I'm thinking of getting Chinese takeaway for today. Too lazy to cook.

I got some Rubio's today. Nachos were worse than usual :|

Um, might be a dumb question, but if the nachos are usually bad, then why not get something better / a different type of food?

They're usually not -too- bad. But I just occasionally have the craving for nachos. I'm from Cali and all. This time they were worse out of delivery, plus the added moisture that comes from me falling asleep for a couple hours and leaving the take-out box lid closed.

Ah, okay. Yeah, I've also had my fair share of stuff that's supposed to be crispy but caught too much moisture until I was able to eat it. Nowadays I mostly prefer curry and stew, so it happens less often.
But hey... at least you got some sleep? ![]()

Curry and stew are both nice, but there come times when I just really want something crispy/crunchy/generally not soft.
Yeah. I'm probably about to take a nap again; attention's starting to fade. STONEWALL WAS A RIOT

Alright!
The first one is a simple yet delicious dish that's called ants on a tree - don't ask me why though, because there sure aren't any ants going into our pots. You will need: a dash of soy sauce a packet of glass noodles (roughly 3.5 oz/100g) 17.5 oz/500g of minced meat one bell pepper one scallion a teaspoon of sambal oelek (can be substituted with chilis instead if you're not able to get some) Chop the scallion and the bell pepper. Cook the glass noodles in a pot with water until they're soft. While they're cooking, roast the minced meat in a pan together with soy sauce. *looks at Strider* Got it so far? Then you add scallion, bell pepper and noodles. Stir a few times, add the sambal and stir again. Should feed roughly three people, and you can also heat up leftovers later. ![]()

I love it because it's fairly quick and simple, yet doesn't taste plain. It's one of my go-to recipes when I crave a good, uncomplicated meal.
