Fun times. My hard drive containing my personal files (including my art) has died.

Thankfully, I have backups. But I do have to spend a bunch of time formatting a new drive then downloading the backup x.x

Tsukiko, I have a love/hate relationship with my job. Sometimes it is wonderful and great, but more and more lately it's been sucking :/

Reviewing my backup, for some reason the important folders (my personal documents and art) is not listed on the backup. It was excluded.

So now I get to hope I can recover it from the drive itself. I could see everything last night so I have high hopes.

But, I'm pissed. (The backup is now set to actually include those.)

and blargh....tablet was shipped by basically snail mail. so it'll be another week before i get it in my hot fat fingers xD but least i have it coming....

And yes. I lost one picture but I already uploaded it do no big deal there. Lost a few other inconsequential files too. And I'm allllllmost done downloading the last bit.

it was off ebay. but at least i got it at the starting bid rather than a jacked up price. i mean i guess it is kinda hefty when everything is in the box...but it just seems a bit jacked on shipping.

....though, paint the cauldron black....ROFL! i charge people $3.50 for shipping when it usually costs me $2.65

The hard drive is actually going to be disassembled later ^_^ Some of the parts are actually semi valuable, don't want to break those!

I tend to charge just what ebay suggests when I charge shipping at all. Though one time ebay had me charge an extra $5 on shipping that I ended up not needing. But then again I gave the guy a break by letting him bid on an item again after he failed to pay the first time, so I admit I didn't feel bad about him getting overcharged.
