Inuit throat singing. The Competition song. This sounds a lot like what I heard yesterday, only the girl's partner wasn't there, and she had to sing alone.

This explains it a bit. It was a sport the women did to amuse themselves (whoever laughed or messed up first lost), and they would also use it to sing their babies to sleep. The singing, the woman's parka, and the sewn in tattoos were/are strong emblems of womanhood for the Inuit.

I don't know why, but Katajjaq makes me want to cry.

A german friend said they have spaghetti ice cream there xDD
well, it's vanilla ice cream shaved into spaghetti form with strawberry sauce as the tomato sauce xDD

This isn't ice cream. This is pasghetti. Some with tomato sauce and some with spicy unsweetened apple sauce.
