((btw how do you handle npc-ish characters? Like that substitute gym teacher? Do you "own" the character or is it like a background that can change with text and stuff?))

Luck picked up the ball that had dropped and returned to shooting hoops as the rest of the students streamed in. Class hadn't officially started yet--according to the clock anyway. Behind him, he heard Rune say something quietly, but not hearing it, he shot another hoop. The substitute standing at the front of the gym with the scrunched face looked familiar, he thought, but he didn't remember substitutes well at all--after all, what did substitutes matter?

Rune stood off to the side, watching Luck, wishing he were on the bleachers so he could just sit and watch and draw the blonde all class. He glanced up when the teacher blew her whistle, wandering over with the other students.

((Did I ask that question before..? If I did sorry! I must have forgotten the answer ><. I mean, should I just have Luck react to the teacher or should I also write about what the teacher's doing?))

Luck picked up his basketball, wondering what the teacher was doing blowing a whistle like that. Did she want them to gather up or something? He walked over to the rack of basketballs and put his in, then walked over to where all the students were beginning to congregate around the teacher.
