@Coda which is really weird, because you've been playing for a while, right? You hit 1000 days before me, and I just hit 1000 days a week ago. Where have all of your stones been going? Because after 1000 days and $0 spent on PAD (and good collab/seasonal REM luck but below average regular REM luck), I have a ton of REM monsters and I don't even use a bunch of these guys because I've run out of team slots and I'm too lazy to keep switching out teams o_____O (not included: ~50 silver eggs; sold for YY)

Three years and change, yeah. REM pulls have ALWAYS been unkind to me. The Christmas Archangel you see me running around with is the last good REM monster I pulled. :/

I... um... also went a little ragey on the Gaia Dragon dungeon and didn't pay attention to my continues...

EDIT: Well... No, I suppose I have a few other good-ish monsters, but nothing with synergy with each other. That's the core of my problem. The pulls I DO get that aren't crap, I can't DO anything with.

So newbie, but I set a Sea Bowl Demon, Tunabowl in my team and holy moly he's wonderful in the beginning. Idk about late game but I just wait for the very end stage and one shot the boss lol.


Also, spent my stones several times lol. I'll start saving now, although it is tempting..

And can someone explain what an Awakening is? I fused my Cerberus and skill up to 54+ and Awakening 1.

Vee, ml user name is same as here. Best stuff to make teams out of as a newbie are ogres bc they become dual elements in later evolutions. Awakening is the little icons on the right side of your monster. Each does different things like enhanced orbs, skill reduction.l, hp, two prong attack, row attack and so on. Also Demon bows are used as skill up fodder for muse, arcline and other knights. Pad guide is a super handy app for pad, it gives you event tines, monster stats, evos, materials needed and skill up monsters

Tunabowl is good for you because it's intended to be a skill-up monster for a high-end creature. For a newbie, where you're comparing it to unevolved low-level monsters and you aren't yet worrying about awoken skills, it's got stats and leader skill comparable to an evolved but not ultimate-evolved monster, and the active skill is just as good on a weak monster as it is on a strong one.

Super King dragons are also pretty good at low level, because they're really not all that hard to come by (just pull the Pal Egg Machine during Enhance Carnival), they don't have to be leveled up at all so they start out strong, and they know the Double Attack Stance series of active skills.

Keeper of Rainbow is another solid monster in the same vein, but it participates in skill rotation so don't love on its active skill too much because it'll change.
