eh, it's ok. it's a 'thing' with my computer... it 'greys out' the screen sometimes, i think when something 'big' is loading. sometimes it does it just to do it. and while the screen is grey/dim, i can't do anything until it comes back to the regular brightness. this is why i crochet at my computer too. XD

i think it's a quirk of the OS, cause my older daughter's laptop does it too and we have the same OS. (which my computer wants me to update to Ubuntu 16.04. heh.)
