Hello there! I'm Keylaleigh, but I also go by Keyla or Key depending on how many letters people want to type out. I've been on many an Avatar site, but it's been a few years since I last decided to check one out.

I am not quite sure what drew me to this one, but here I am!

I like playing Magic: The Gathering, writing, playing board games, and roleplaying both in a tabletop and a forum setting.

Which brings up a question: how is the RP community here?

Our rp community is pretty small, but we have some varied styles and I can't think of any players that would mind unexpected invites to groups.

Welcome to the site, Keyla!

Hmm... I might be able to do something about that. I took a glance and saw that the rules running around this forum are a little different than what I am accustomed to with a forum roleplay site, but we will see what happens.

Ehh, we're a little bit different, yeah. We're not super strict about all our rules though. I know I've been on plenty of sites that had staff with sticks up their butts.

I'm personally fond of the relaxed thing our rp community has. When a good group gets going, you can usually see players of different skill levels working together without a problem. Not a fan of elitism in something that should be fun.

I'm super-used to very VERY strict roleplay sites, so relaxing myself will take some getting used to.

I get that. My style has been relaxing like crazy for a few years now, but I'm also having a lot more fun than I ever did when I was really into larger communities. I'm pretty sure 70% of the posts I've made in the last couple days have been 1-liners, haha.

My last community was SUPER small and SUPER close-knit, and we had our one-line posters which had their part of the site, and we had our "wall-of-text-ers" who did their thing on their part of the site. Basically the strictness came in with "ALL PROFILES MUST BE SUBMITTED AND APPROVED OF BY THE HEAD OF THE ROLEPLAY BEFORE YOU CAN POST"
Because of this, seeing the profiles just kinda sitting on the main roleplay thread made me gasp a little bit. Just something to accustom myself to.

Haha, I usually participate in ones where the profile gets posted right in the main ooc thread, but honestly, sometimes it's fun to do a jump-in-and-go rp. I have a friend, not on this site, but she just started a request thread asking people to send her random starter posts. Super interesting experience, that's for sure.

How well would a more in-depth and continuous RP go over? I'm looking into starting something once I determine a plot.

Oh, we definitely get those around here, too. I think Suzerain of Sheol hosts the most in-depth rps... actually, I think there's only been 1 or 2 of his groups that I didn't participate in, haha. I'd just say not to expect slots to fill in super fast.

*waves hello*
I can't really offer much roleplay-wise, but we do have sort of characters in a sense as well. Sort of sometimes break out that in the threads.
Lawtan: A chaotic dragoness with issues.

I am avid roleplayer, and I am used to the anything goes type; heck, I've been on Elysium for years, but it's pretty dead now, since everyone wants to be smol ukes...
Anyway, feel free to check out my RP-thread in my sig. ^^

Lol Hello. And Welcome aboard.
XD I have to say that Gall is quite right. As soon as you decide on a plot I will probably be one of your groupies.

Who dares to invoke my name on this accursed forum? :|

*hands the new person a crumpled-up flier with all the requisite administrative salutations and banishes self back to the Tarterian depths of the staff forums.*
