I'm sooo fking pissed right now. It's time for Welfare to 'reassess' us for our Foodstamps. And instead of reassessing us, the lady on the phone THREATENED us..

The Fking doctor refuses to give me a note to stay home with her. She CAN'T Cook any more, she sleeps all fking day.. she falls down and has blackouts.

The welfare lady didn't even OFFER to put me back into the work program until I can get the note. And she won't send any information about the note i need either cause the doctor doesn't understand what its for and I SUCK at explaining shit! D:<


So all I got, instead of a reassessment, was a threat "if you don't send the packets back, you will loose your foodstamps until you comply with our rules" .. FK YOU D:<

Nah that is BS DK.
First off the doctor should give her a not period if she counts as disabled (unable to take care of ones self, not fully physically disabled)
2 regardless of what you are doing, it doesn't MATTER about your role in the whole thing, it matters that you are counted as a head in the household. She had no right to do that to you. I would call and speak to a different representative at the office, or go in in person (as much as I FKN HATE doing that myself) and explain to them in person what has happened. When we had EBT I filled my paperwork out online for reassesment and just got a small phone call where I pretty much stated my situation has never changed.

I really hope you can get the stuff taken care of D:

They're suppose to ask us the questions over the phone and help us fill it out because we don't understand it and end up getting shitz wrong.

The doctor never heard of this so he's iffy on giving us a note.. =/

Then try to get the doctor or one of their aids to talk to the people on the phone. Or ask for a copy of the medical records for your mom, they can't deny you that. Even more so if your her primary caregiver.

that and the last place refused to give us the medical records unless we paid them for the copies. =/
