Nope. no difference. they just give you treasure when you love them xD sometimes treasure chests (on bonding level ups)

I am still slowly trying to get gems. OMG I suck at it. ; ; Is there any way to get them? Besides luck with chests? I don't think I have any babies I can sell for them. None of them are too perfect enough for gems so far.
