Unfortunately can't just yet. I've had issues with my microphone, combined with a busy weekend, so the recordings are just now getting up to speed. Audio will be up later tonight, hopefully soon(tm)

Well, if someone makes the appropriate accusation and can give a semi accurate explanation as to how, and bonus points for the why, it'll be over. If they can't, there are at least two more people that can die. After that, the killer will 'win' and murder the rest. So the countdown is getting thin. As far as a time table goes, I can make it last as long as the Halloween events are going, which would be the 12th of November.

Now, if you want to find the killer...well, there are a few clues that are being overlooked. If no one gets it in a day or so, the next chapter will have some fairly damning evidence, as long as people have been paying attention...

I have an accusation (Had one, but wanted to check on somethings first)

The Murderer: Lady Scrimshaw

How they did it, and Why: She didn't, but due to her disdain of folk like Giselle and her control over the food prepared by the Butler, she has both the means and motive. She has not indicated a love of the butler that would bar the somewhat absent-minded fellow from being her tool in the murders. This is her house, so she would know all the nooks and crannies. She has the greatest ability to drug all the food. Finally, such an esteemed lady would not want the Long-named Lord to push through his efforts to "elevate" lower folk. Why else would she invite a party of folk whom she dislikes?

I've been reading and re-reading the chapters for the "clues" you keep talking about, but I'm coming up with nothing. I have a suspicion about the bottle of wine disappearing from the kitchen, but then again it could honestly just be Alabaster acting like a frazzled fool.
You're either going to force us to be extremely clever in order to figure it out, or else it's just painfully obvious who the killer is and we're all just being dumb.

Let's see...Butler's been accused and nothing...Lady Scrimshaw's been accused and nothing...Giselle is dead...

Lord Tavish, Isabella, or the Captain? Unless we have the murderer right and the method/reasoning wrong.

I want you to know that I am giggling evilly and rubbing my hands together as I think about how this is all going to turn out. Some of you are fairly close to the trail of how to solve it all and you don't even know it. It's like watching kids look for particularly well hidden Easter eggs.

Can we just accuse the Butler of Butlering and call it a a day? I'm starting to warm up to this murderer fellow. I like his or her work.

I've still got my eye on that butler. It's hard to think of motives for everyone else when I'm busy trying to think of how Alabaster is the killer.
It's always the butler, damnit!

But if so, we need a motive. (Alies, I'll be ready to hang the Butler if he is the guy closest to the body...other than the Captain...again.)

I had thought the Lady Scrimshaw would be using the Butler. It just seems too easy to be him. Too convenient.

She is defending him though. No one would defend someone unless they did it themselves.

It's Lady Scrimshaw! IT HAS TO BE!

It seems too easy, but then again, that could be why we've been staying away from that line of thinking.
Occam's Razor, people!
I'm almost thinking... It was Alabaster, but maybe he's not in full control of his mental faculties? That would be hard to prove, though. The only thing we know about him concerning his health is that he has a heart condition.
