If i wanna read this manga, i'm gonna have to find tokyopop's versions on amazon.. vol 2 was already super expensive brand new so i'll have to go with used.. ;-;


I found some of the episodes of Kindaichi.. the first story you come across in the manga, is like.. around episode 15ish.. and they changed a LOT..

The Female teacher in the manga became the Hotel's Cook
The Original Murderer became the Teacher and the reason for the killing's older brother
The Murderer is now one of the random manga characters =o=

the 3 murder victims and the reason they were murdered were the same. The first victim though was murdered differently. instead of a bloody death by fallen stage lights, a chandelier fell on top of her =/ so instead of blood being the main point of discovery later on, its glass.. 3:< GIVE ME MY BLOOD!

And the one character was found nude in the manga, she was still clothed in the anime.. IT WAS HER STOCKINGS THAT GAVE THE HINT AND THAT HINT WASN'T THERE IN THE ANIME! ;-;

I want to see the Mummy's Curse arc ;-; thats the manga arc i can't finish cause i can't find the raws.. very old manga = hard to find @-@

I found the movie (animated one) on bakabt and downloaded it. I haven't watched it yet. what was the movie about? I didn't read the summery.

For some reason, episodes 30-59 of the 1997 anime were hard to find, and when I did find them, turned out to be TERRIBLE quality.. so I thought "Get the raw's extract the subtitles from the bad videos and add them to the raws" nope didn't work. the opening themes were COMPLETLEY Different, and the opening of the anime was different, and somewhere in the middle the audio had something added in the RAW version.

seems like the RAWs I downloaded are the remastered version on the anime where they add stuff, cut stuff and rearrange stuff. the video is cleaner as is the audio so I know the raws are newer. probably from the remastered dvd release.. if there was one. if there was i'd like to get my hands on it..

Kindaichi has a 'Kaitou Gentalman' character who steals art where conan has Kaitou 1412 (kid) who steals gems (the previews for movie 19 Kaitou Kid goes after a piece of artwork)

Conan and Kindaichi manga came out around the same time, but the story of Kaitou Kid came out before Conan did and ended up fusing with the Conan story line later on.

o3o i'm not impressed by Kindaichi so far.. its got good murder stories but most of them end with the killer, killing himself off.. and Kindaichi has an annoying habit of saying "I'll solve this mystery in my grandpa's name!" getting annoying.. =o= Conan doesn't even say 'theres only one truth' all THAT often.


BUT! If you wanna watch the new Kindaichi Seires, Crunchyroll has it ouo

GYAA! D8 They now have a re-occurring IDOL! Just like in Conan!

Conan has Youko and Kindaichi has um.. whats-her-name >.>,

so many simularities between the two shows.. i wonder which had what stuff first.. I know that Kaitou Kid was out before the 2 detective series.. so Kindaichi's Kaitou Gentleman looks like a ripoff..

there are 2-3 other cases similar to conan cases o-o
