For those of you who know/remember me know that I been wishing to move away from ohio for a while now due to many reasons. For those who don't know me or just haven't been around me long enough to hear the story I will tell it now.

Be warned, there is a bit of adult theme here. This particular theme I couldn't include on my go fund me page, less the person in question finds it and comes to complain. He scares me and here is why:

When I was younger my mom's boyfriend had a roommate, who eventually started dating my youngest aunt -I have 7 aunts-. This guy was alright in the beginning but as I got older and started to fill out the guy started getting nasty.

When I was 16, he came into my bedroom while i was sleeping and touched me inappropriately. It woke me up but i pretended to still sleep and I kicked out at him, hitting him in the family jewels. That didn't stop him, what stopped him was mom getting off the phone and coming into my room. She didn't see anything but called the police later when I told her what he did.

The police did nothing. The reason this guy was over, and still came over afterwards is because of my mom's nicotine addiction. When ever she needed a cigarette she'd call him up.

After he broke up with my aunt 5 years ago, he'd come around and hang out. Once we moved to the location we're at now, he started to undress completely and jerk off in front of mom and I. (if you don't believe me I am willing to send you the video of one of the times he did such)

I tried taking it to the cops but they said it was basically a porn video and that since mom or I didn't tell him 'stop doing such a thing' while i recorded the video that it was "I" who could be arrested for recording someone with out their permission.

Well last year at the end of July, he started up his 'usual' as i had started calling it. I had rearranged the living room to where if he sat on the couch I couldn't see anything. Instead of sitting on the couch, he moved my bike and sat in the corner on the floor in front of me and did his usual. After he was finished he started to say that I should be more grateful to him for always helping mom and I out with food, cigs, or other things we need/wanted. That I should show him my breasts.

I freaked out on him. I told him that I wasn't a whore, I wasn't a slut and if he wanted to see boobs he could go down to the strip club. He started to say that I wasn't any of that and that he wouldn't tell anyone about it. I told him that it didn't matter who knew what, that it was how it made me feel. I felt degraded and nasty just thinking about it and I told him so.

Well after that he hasn't been seen since. But he's disappeared for a while only to come back.

Between that guy and the lack of work around this area and the fact that I have no way to get to a job if I were to ever actually get hired. Mom and I decided we were going to start a GoFundMe.

Of course this relies on my 'social media' contacts, who are all family members who won't even share the link to their friends. I've been relying on my friends from Knuffle and UniFaction.

Since I started my campaign back in January, I've only raised 150$ out of the 8000$ needed to move.

Where am I moving to? Missouri. There is an apartment complex down there WITH A BUS STOP! They allow pets and we've already called and asked questions. I have a few friends down there willing to help me out, we've contacted other places like section 8 and a moving company to see what our protocols would be and what we'd need to do. The only thing left is raise the money. Which we are having a hard time.

So I ask you guys, can you give me some idea's on what i could do to spread my link around? My family won't help, and if we put it up in the local papers the pervert will find out and start stalking us. Any suggestions at all would be nice. =)

Part from what your already doing DK I'd suggest pm's to close freinds here or other forums you use to spread the message. Unfortantly with the climate being as hard as it is you may find it harder to find folks who can afford to help you get out of a bad situation. Hope this helps a little.

Wish I could help out more but I've spread the word as best I can. I can see if a few other people might be willing to help spread the link but other than that I can't do much. Though one thing you could do is maybe try posting on Aywas in the forums. Reason why I say this is because sometimes they will do fundraising for members on the site for different things (I think one was done for someone to get an operation to save their cat's life or something a few years back). If people notice it on there they might try to do something whether it be another user or the staff itself.

ML - are we allowed to post links like that on Aywas? A lot of forums don't like people posting links like that because it takes away from their own donations.

Kara - On some websites you have to be careful of who you PM. Even if you think they are your friend, if you PM someone a link like that, they could report you if sharing such a link is against the rules.

Edit - ML Like I thought, personal fundraisers aren't allowed on Aywas. It has to be for a charity.

I think most people these days use KickStarter to really fund things but even than, it is a gamble of getting support. It's a shame you can't hold small things offline to gain funding, sometimes a real life venue would allow a night where a person could hold a fundraiser, etc.

Most sites won't hold fundraisers unless it is for Charity.. through I think an user could offer to do an art auction or something for real money.. I know Kami had a board on here once trying to raise money through selling art. If you knew some artists whom would be willing to do that to help, that would be the best bet sometimes to getting funds cause most people don't want to part with money unless they are getting something in return sadly.

Huh, then I wonder why they ran that donation thing for that person's cat to get an operation, they had announced it in the news feed. :/ Maybe they had something like a slash bot or something. And if I pm it to someone I ask them first if its okay if they do that, I'm not going to make them or anything. And I'd only give it to people I really trust anyways.

You can only use Kickstarter to fund projects with well-defined results. You can't use it to raise money for a good cause or for personal needs or for an on-going project (e.g. a webcomic or serial novel).

Ah, I had noticed people listing projects on there to get funds for college, etc. I really only glance through it once in a blue moon to see what ideas are listed and if any are interesting.

sadly everyone I know is in the same I'm broke boat...8k is a lot to raise (not saying you don't need it)....do you do art? I don't know, but if you draw, some people will buy commissions and that could help?

And if you like to write, kindle will let you self publish and you can make money from that (and some of the books on there are so horribly written, and they're probably getting money for it, so I think anyone can)

Yokuutsu - I'm actually slowly working on a story. This is the first time I've heard of kindle publishing things, thats great news for me! =)

I do draw but I think I'm terrible at it. >x< But I'll see what I can do about my story. =) That actually cheers me up right there. <3 Maybe I can make a collection of my crappy poems and put them on there xD

Even if you can't send me money, sharing the link and spreading it around on your social media sites helps a lot more than people think. I just don't know enough people, and the ones on my facebook ignore me anyway. =o=

Nope, I am positive this was on Kickstarter cause I never knew Gofundme existed til about a month ago and this more than a month ago I saw the project where someone was hoping to get the funds to attend college overseas and if I remember right, they never got funded. Not really something I would fund through Kickstarter myself.. mean, that's why students get a job or locate scholarships..

and that's interesting about kindle. Even if that aids in getting some funds, always worth a shot.

Those names do confuse people at times x3 they need to post more in the same thread. it'd be entertaining.

So I've gotten a little farther on my story.. well it's outline. xD I haven't started the actual story yet. I want to flesh out as much of the details and personalities I can.

I checked out the whole kindle thing and it seems easy enough. I'm going to go to legal zoom and copyright it and the pen name i'll use when I write stuff once i finish it.

still up for suggestions on how to spread my link and stuff though =)
