So today my views on never wanting to work in payroll were firmly reinforced. Man, all the yelling they've got to deal with.

the company that does our payroll is screwing up stuff. not good.

Ugg. In our case it was due to the woman who handles the stuff for my unit being sick at a important due date. Some of the girls who work a lot of OT play a precarious game with their tax withholdings. =\

also, our delivery service has gotten totally sucky over the last few months.

there's only 5 people who get payroll paychecks, so i don't think we can do direct deposit...

Awww. I love direct deposit... I can't wait until my husband hits six months at the job and can get it himself.

I hate having to go to the bank... though I only need to do it once a month, as that's as often as I get paid.
