Eh...it's really just an activity that organizations do. My group (KGB) lets you choose whether you want to do Booth or not, and if you vote yes, you are expected to be at most build-week builds for some time.

Yar. It's great; we have a sweatshirt that's black and has "Carnegie Mellon University" in small-ish print and "KGB" in very huge print and there's a modified KGB logo on the back.

Hm...Besides my first-year dorm, KGB was the first friend group I had. Actually, I knew about them before even going to CMU; I had gone to a sleeping bag weekend, and my bagger host was in the group. She gave me a sort of...underground tour. KGB is infamous for knowing about the tunnels under the campus. So...I immediately knew that was the first group I would track down once I actually went.

So I did. Actually...uh. I got sort of kidnapped by a Scav Hunt group on my way to find them to figure out how to join...and that was kind of how I was introduced to the rest of KGB, haha...

But yeah. Most of them are Comp Sci people, and I followed them to another social group...yeah. So most of my friends in college stem from there and my major, really.
