I see, but are Merchants required to follow the price guide? In most of my cases, they don't have to. And I don't get a lot of money often so getting currency is difficult and these high demands are killing me. I hope if I do some trading here it won't be as bad.

The price guide isn't a requirement, it's just showing what the items TEND to sell for.

There are currently 100, 250, and 500 Aurum options in the crane game, with somewhere around a 35% chance for one of them to appear.

Na. I've learned over the years that if someone really wants/needs to leave they are going to do it regardless of what others say so it's pointless to try and make them stay.
