I've never had a cherry on top of my hot chocolate... I'll have to get some cherries and try it out. *nod*
I usually make mine with crushed up candy cane pieces in it, a layer of crunchy hot cocoa marshmallows (Jet Puff sells them by themselves now!), a good swirl of Rediwhip, and a little hot chocolate mix sprinkled on top of the Rediwhip. There was a point around this past Christmas that I was drinking at least one cup a day, usually first thing in the morning. And I like Bigelow's Pomegranate Green Tea. I usually put honey and lemon in it. One of the regulars at the restaurant I used to work at would bring in a bag every morning and drink it the same way. He gave me one to take home and try, and it's the only constant flavored tea I'll keep here at home. In regards to the weather, it's been rather warm the last few days here. Right now it's just under 50 degrees and the high today's supposed to be 62. We had a lot of snow (for us at least) the last week of January and early February, though. It got really crazy. I can't figure out why Southerners always empty the store of milk, bread, and eggs when we're supposed to get even the lightest of flurries. If the power goes out and you're stove's electric, how are you supposed to cook the eggs? And also, your milk will eventually go bad if your power doesn't come back on within a certain amount of time... So it seems like those two items are a waste of money in a snow storm. Bread I can understand, sandwiches can sustain, especially if you have peanut butter, or whatever nutbutter you like. Sorry for the mini-rant. >.<' The two snow/ice storms that hit my area this year left a bad taste in my mouth. ![]() ![]()

Yes...they also buy lots of sausages and raw meat (usually ground beef). I suppose they plan to cook using a charchoal grill? ...if they were I would be ringing up a lot more charcoal. So I guess we're back to stupid.

lol I forgot those things exist. It just isn't real BBQ if you cook with propane.

I don't know about you, but I'm not taking my butt outside in the snow, ice and slush to cook on a charcoal grill, heck, even propane. I will stay inside with my nice warm blankets snuggling with my little ones while eating peanut butter and honey sandwiches. -_-'

I'd kill for some warm weather right now. This house is freezing.
In other news, I baked some banana bread today. We had 5 brown bananas, but instead of throwing them out I decided to make bread with them. We are severely lacking funds right now, so I am trying to save us some money on food. It's very good bread though, and I'm more than willing to share with my Trisphee friends. :3 A cherry on top of my cocoa is the best... It gives it that professionally made look. « ☼ ☾ ✰ » Semi-Active.

*huggles Kilala* Thank yous. I'm attempting to cover the broken window in something other than just thick tape. I've got cardboard, but no tape to hold the cardboard up. There's such a breeze coming in, plus the doors to this house don't have weatherstripping. You can see the light coming in through the cracks of the doors from outside. I'm doing the best I can to keep the house warm. It's in the negatives again tonight and I don't want our pipes to freeze. My boyfriend is at work right now or he'd know where the heavy duty tape is.
