Is it actually the flu? I've had the flu once and that was more than enough for me. Fever, chills, and muscle aches bad enough I didn't wantto move. I get the flu shot every year because I'm on immune suppressants which would make it worse if I were to get it. One flue for 15 years isn't bad. Most people I see griping about a flu usually just have a bad cold. The flu shot isn't a guarantee either. They can only fit three flu vaccines in the shot, so we just have to hope that the flu's we actually encounter are one of those three.

/nit pick.

Until recently, my immune system would kick out flu and strep. I guess it is "tired" enough not to really do that much anymore.
Still a strep carrier, but flu/sickness so often this last year or so.
