I like that you can put the stars over clothes, that's the main reason I like it. I used that on a beta avatar that was pretty osm, I'm just waiting for that item to come back out to use it

The closed beta items will be re-released, along with quite a number of others, available for a short time for people who want a set, or multiple sets, to themselves. Last I heard, they were tossing around USD amounts as the price for the items when they're re-released. So for now, the market prices are probably as high as they're going to be for a few months on those items. They'll lower after the re-release.
