After a while of searching Jace made his way back to the beacon of light that had been advertised previously where his team had said they were going. On arrival he notices them both standing by a cut open chest. "So how did it go no problems then?" Jace looked up into the sky the Sun was setting it was getting dark they needed to find somewhere to camp out.

Lance smiled helping the girl up. "Now now don't take my joke so seriously, Of course i want to be king." Lance looked up and yawn, his eyes drooped a bit, Fatigue was getting to him but they had no time in his eyes they had to get the crown parts. "why is it so late already..." Lance said as the sunset.

Lucien nodded his head as they made it into the forest lit by the beacon. "I guess the first thing we should do i make it to the map, So we know what we are doing."

Kate stayed quiet for a moment listening in on the announcement, she sheathed her sword and patted Kanon's head. "I think we should go get a map before they run out, Don't wanna lose before we even start right?" Kate giggled and started to head down the drawbridge that they used to get to the castle

[Dawn]

Lei places her arms behind her head and follows, "That would be the logical part, yes. Through, you could always steal a map if the case came down to it."

Noelle rolls her eyes, "That was a joke?" she grins seeing Lance was tired, "Maybe we should make camp for the night, we could always snuggle in the same sleeping bag together." she offers, a Cheshire cat grin on her face, "that way, you can protect me from Lucien during the night. So no dirty thoughts of rolling in the dirt or how you guys put it?"

Lucien laughed and shook his head in disagreement. "If I stole the maps from the other competitors it wouldn't be as fun to run into them and kill them stringing there blood and intestines everywhere now would it?" a manic grin appear across the mans face. As they make it up to the beacon Lucien notices a group of people an elf and a foxkin, with a strange man in armor.. "sh.." Lucien points at the chest that they are currently standing in front of.

Lance smirked as Noelle spoke of the Sleeping bag. "Im sure that Lucien isn't your only incentive for wanting to sleep in the same bag as me?" Lucien snickered a bit then walked into an open spot in the forest. "Well first of all we need a fire, Maybe I should go off and look for some fire would and flint.."

[Dawn]

"You have some strange hobbies.." Lei replies, her eyes on Lucien, "But each their own." She glances at where Lucien was pointing, not saying anything.

Following Lance into the open spot, Noelle raises an eyebrow, "I'm kind of too young to be thinking of having children at this moment and we don't know each other well enough for those sort of relations. It's purely protection that I seek." she glances around, "We both could get fire wood, it's a forest for gods sake, there's wood all over."

Lance shook his head at Noelle comment. "I simply was teasing and meant that you were wanting a reason to be close to me, it was your mind that wandered there." He then laughed nodding his head and making his way toward the shadowed forest "Well im going to go look for firewood, We will meet up back at this spot, If you wish to go look for wood your self you can."

[Dawn]

Noelle put her hands on her hips and huffed, "Teasing, my ass." Throwing her bag on the ground and turning opposite of Lance, she hurries off to locate some firewood, she wasn't a helpless little maiden and she was going to prove it.

Jokull glanced up when Jace appeared and raised a brow. "Yes we got a map, but there's one problem, we've found a formidable opponent for you." Sighing as he took the map from the ground in front of Makani's feet and glanced it over a little. "Interesting... Yes the pieces are clearly marked and everything." He turned to look over his fox kin friend and tilted his head. "Are you okay?"

Makani nodded with his eyes on the ground. "Yeah I'm fine... Don't worry about me." He said easily and avoided looking over at Jace. Fidgeting slightly with his bag as he turned to head down the path. "The first piece is a day's walk from here going north....."

Jace laughs at the thought of the idea of someone who could match his blade. "We will see about that though i doubt that anyone will make me fall pray to there prowess." Jace looked over at Makani and shook his head "Becoming pray to an attack and not being rash is and was the most smart and skilled way to take things you should be proud of yourself not sulking."


Lucien smiled at the man in armors arrogance, how dare he think that no one could beat him.. Doesn't he know that I am the strongest man alive... Hehe maybe ill make a bone chalice with his bones.. Lucien's grin widened for a second before he looked back over at lei and spoke in hushed tone. "Do you know any of them?"

Lance looked back to see Noelle run off he let out a small sigh and shook his head, It looked as if he might have offended her. "Well that's just great..." Lance shrugged his shoulder and wondered about paying attention to as of where he was going picking up sticks and firewood along the way.

"Yes, I do." Lei says in a bored tone, her gaze sweeping over Jace coldly, "Let's say, me and that idiot had a little run with each other earlier. The others, I don't know." she pulls her knife out of the bag and keeps it ready incase she needed to draw blood to perform some more of her darker magic..

Plucking up quite a bit of firewood, Noelle returns back to the site to find Lance gone, "Hmph." she sits the wood down in a neat pile before deciding to go and get cleaned up. Heading down to the nearest stream, Noelle places the clean clothes on the nearest stump before checking to make sure no one else was around before taking off her dirty clothes and sitting them on the ground before taking small steps into the cold water of the stream.
Allowing the cool water to wash away what had happened in the last few hours, and cause the stream was not deep, Noelle folded her knees under her and allowed most of her body to sink under the water as she shook her hair free from the two ponytails, allowing the ends of the hair to float in the water around her. With a small laugh, as she gazed up at the setting sun that was heating the water around her up slowly, she closes her eyes and allows herself the chance to enjoy her bath, This is paradise.

After Lance had picked up a nice amount of fire wood he made his way back to the area of which he and Noelle had last seen each other, looking down he noticed that there was a pile of wood already laying about at the campsite. "So, Looks like I have been beat to the punch" Lance laughed to himself pulling from his pocket a large piece of flint that he had also found while looking for the fire wood and setting it down.

"alright so now for the fire pit and somewhere to sit.." Lance unsheathe his sword quickly, the golden glyph's of the word "Sharp" Appeared on his blade, The blade its self grew thicker and sharper, so sharp that you could almost see the damage it could do with making contact with anything.. Lance walked over to a freshly dead tree, he climbed high up into it cutting off all the branches and leaves with his sword, making large crashes as they hit the ground. "Looks like i have more fire wood." he laughed to himself as he jumped to the stump of the tree. "LOOK OUT BELOW!" He yelled as he swung his blade quickly through the base of the tree like a knife through hot butter, The tree slammed down toward the forest with a big crash. "Damn didn't fall the way i wanted to.." Lance shrugged and walked his way to the tree cutting it into a log like piece and dragging it into the open.

After getting the Log's situated Lance sheathed his sword into the scabbard and Made his way around the camp site picking up various stones and a large shovel shaped piece of wood that had fallen from the tree, He dug a whole near the log that he had recently chopped down, after that he laid the stones in a close tight circle around the whole and stared at it for a bit. "Well, that looks good to me." Lance smiled and Began to fill the whole with various fire wood in a tepee formation, Stuffing dry hay and other Flammable materials underneath it. "We did a good job didn't we?"

Lance nodded as he grabbed for the flint and a small stone clashing them together causing hot sparks to fly everywhere towards the dry materials, after proceeding for a while the fire roared to a blaze catching the wood above it on fire the camp sight was instantly filled with heat and light to illuminate against the oncoming night. "Well, looks like that will be good for tonight." Lance sprawled his arm's open and fell backwards onto the dirt, a thud sound gently engulf the surrounding area, lance took the map from his pocket and began to stare at it, without even opening it. Am I really meant to be ruler? Is it worth it to even try with people like Lucien running about?

Lance's eyes became heavy his thought began to run slow. "No I can't sleep yet.." a yawn escaped the mans mouth as his tails wrapped around his waist and his arms folded behind his neck. "I guess sleeping for a little bit wont be...bad.." As the words fell from his mouth Lance fell asleep and as the night feel so gracefully around the world around him.

Noticing how late it was getting, Noelle quietly slips out of the stream, wringing her hair out and not caring if anyone was in the bushes, it wasn't like she was not use to being nude in front of others before, she had stripped in front of Lei many of times and.. back in the day when Lucien had been her friend cause at the orphanage, you learned as an early age not to be embarrassed or modest of others seeing you nude, they had plenty of times shared the same shower..

Pulling on the clean clothes, she heads back to find Lance had been busy and chuckles seeing he was asleep. She was also curious why a guy like him was so worried about her? If he came king, he could have any beautiful girl by his side, not some little orphan no one had wanted like her, hell, even Lei with her beautiful locks of auburn hair and ice cold eyes was a far better catch than her and Lucien would never leave her alone, would it be fair to drag Lance into her hell?

Sitting down near Lance by the fire, she watches him sleep for a few moments, the light of the flames dancing off her still damp hair. She was glad he was asleep cause she knew her face showed her worry, there was no way she would allow Lucien to hurt Lance.. if it meant she had to give up her life to keep both Lei and Lance safe from him, than she would walk right up to Lucien and allow him to take her life with no fight.

Sighing, Noelle heads into the tepee and makes herself comfortable, falling into a dark and disturbing sleep.

Makani started off down the pathway at a quiet little jaunt. Without a word he was just moving along and not giving anything to the conversation. Ears pinned back, he had made it obvious that this was a sore subject for him and he was deep in thought.

Jokull tapped the armored shoulder of Jace and shook his head slowly. "No matter what you do, there's nothing that will convince him that he needs to be proud of himself so don't try." Murmuring as he started down the path. "This is just the way he is, but he'll be better later once we get to camp, trust me." Sighing now, his fingers played over the gemstones that made up the buttons on his coat. "So Jace... What would you like once the throne has been claimed?"

Kanon nodded some as she placed her sword away chased after Kate looked around the area seeing all the people and everyone around it was little scary for her, finally catching up to the other, the blue haired girls hand reached out took a hold of kate's shirt holding on it a little.

She walked around aimlessly, with no real goal in mind. Where was her destination? Why was she walking? Nura herself didn't know, the only thing she did know was that she was heading towards somewhere. It was as if it were something calling her, but she didn't know what it was. Nura's black boots crunched against the leaves on the forest floor, as she searched for a place to rest for the night, as it was getting darker. She glanced around at a slight rustle in a bush, but found it to be a squirrel, and relaxed. Nura didn't know if anyone was in the same location as her, but she needed to be on her guard.

Mairi sighed softly as she knelt on the ground working on building a small fire to keep herself warm for the night. "Hmph.... Stupid castle sure didn't make it easy... Now I wonder if I can find any of those pieces to give to a good person." Mumbling to herself as she attempted to light the fire, but stopped to glance up when she heard the approach of a person.

Jumping up, she pressed her back to a tree, arrow notched on the bow string and ready to draw it. Turning quickly she held the bow up level with the person and narrowed her eyes, fox ears pinned back with irritation. "Who goes there? Friend or foe?" Her voice holding a low growl as she watched the girl with a ghostly complexion. Her face was pretty much all she could see since she was wearing pretty much all dark clothes.

Kate looked down at kanon and smiled kneeling down to her she whispered into her ear "It's fine i'm here you won't get hurt i promise." Kate patted her on the head and let her hold onto the edge of her shirt as they made there way through the crowded and dangerous city to the forest upon which the beacon was shining. "We are almost there i can just see the map already.."

Jace ignored Jokull and quickly hushed the man as he looked towards the bushes, The man had heard a familiar voice a evilly devilish like smiled appeared amongst the shadowed mouth o jace's face, He looked toward a small set of Bushes and yelled loud enough that the surrounding area could clearly hear him. "Well well, I recognize that voice anywhere it seems that we are being followed by that heathenous Witch from the city who said she had no interest in this contest."

Lucien's eyes widened as heard the man talk to Lei, he did not make a sound the thoughts of him sneaking up behind them as the man yelled at lei was on his man. He made his way slowly but quietly around the surrounding area trying he best to not make a sound, It was then his foot collided with a small amount of snow like substance on the ground and he slipped hitting the ground with a large thump. "Ow.. why is there snow here.. incollent fools.."
