Lucien smiled at the women telling him what she wanted. "No society huh? What if i could promise you a location only that I know about that you could live the rest of your life at without the worry of pesty little castle servants or taxes, and allowed you to kill whoever and whatever you wanted that stepped onto the property, And the supplies to live there as well" Luciens smiled turned into a Manic grin as he continued to talk his words got more persuasive, his tone became calm and smoothing. "All you would have to do is help me get the Throne and all that could be yours, and whatever else you want.." Lucien placed his hand once more on the woman's cheek gently and ran it down to her chin looking her into the eyes hoping that his words got through.

Upon hearing someone behind him talking about the chest he quickly unsheathed his sword the golden glyphs of the word "Speed" once again lit up upon his sword and at an extremely fast pace he ran towards the strange steadily charging towards him, if he were to make contact Lance would slam him into a tree placing the sword to his neck, if he were to miss lance would run up the tree and flip around to further investigate the man while standing in a defensive pose.


Jace smirked laughing while picking up his lance and shaking his head in disagreement. "Though im not sure if you or he has noticed there is more than just our strong presence in this town, and even i would be afraid to meet up with more than one of them, and at this moment they are all headed to that beacon." Lance looked over at the man and kneel holding lance in hand. "If I might say master we should go check up on him incase something bad happens."

Lei remained quiet, listening to this guy as his hand ran down her cheek before resting on her chin, his eyes looking into hers, "The throne, hm?" she says, his offer sounded nice, "I'm already part of a team, no thanks to Ele and her crazy ideas." she pauses for a second, "What do you want me to do to assist you?"

Makani squeaked and went wide eyed as he pressed back into the tree to try keeping his throat away from the blade. "Oi what the hell dude!? I wasn't gonna even attack you!" His voice came out in a squeak as he scrabbled slightly. "How are you even going to open a metal chest without a lock?"

"Hmm.... I guess you're right about that, but let's take our time since I'm used to him holding onto his time guarantees." Jokull said softly and headed towards the end of the bridge. "So Jace once we have the map, do you think we should head for the closest or farthest piece of crown on the map?"

Lance stayed quiet for a few moments staring the man in front of him down. "Hear my words and hear them closely, I giving you a chance to live, You will answer my questions and only my questions, If you speak out of line ill kill you, If you give me a false answer ill kill you, and if i don't like your answer or any of your little friends, if you have any come galavanting in to save you ill kill you and then them." Lance pushed his blade tighter against the mans neck. "Question one, Why are you sneaking around watching me from the trees.." A circle appeared under both of there legs golden glyphs of the word immobilize appeared Lances and Makani's legs froze as if they were stone. "And don't try leaving i am a spellblade after all it's not like i was planning on letting you leave without my say."

Jace stood up and followed the man down the bridge, he thought carefully about the question the man asked him then smirked. "Depends do you wan't to kill them all now or later." Jace laughed as he folded his lance into two separate pieces and sheathed them into slots in his back

Lucien smiled, he had the feeling that he was getting through to the women. "Simple, Help me find all the pieces and make it to the throne, And if on the way you want to kill anyone including the pesky people forcing you to be in there team i would have no objection to it." Lucien laughed a manic cheshire grin appeared across his face. "Of Course there is a women i want to kill if we ever run into her but, we can always wait too see if that day comes." Lucien removed his hand from the woman's cheek and left it held out in front of her offering a handshake. "Do we have a deal, Or shall i give you time to think it out?"

Lei raises an eyebrow at the woman and kill part, "I never said she was forcing me on her team, I have known the girl for a year, we met on the road. She was the one wanting to do the hunt in the first place." she studies Lucien a bit more, "Through, the offer of being away from people is quite tempting, I guess we have a deal than." she places her hand into his.

Lucien's grin grew even larger you could almost see the Evil in his eyes as he gripped her hand and shook it. "Good im glad we have an agreement." Lucien release the grip on her hand and gave a quick bow. "I am Lucien, Leader of the Spellblade guild, Might I ask your name dear?"

Makani bit his lip and squirmed as best he could he lean back away from the blade into the hard bark. "I'm hear searching for treasure and saw the chest. What else would a thief like me believe lying in a chest but treasure? Though it is quite strange for a chest to sit in the middle of a light like that...." He mumbled and closed his eyes hoping that he wouldn't be killed for this.

Jokull laughed lightly and shook his head. "Hmm... Well I wouldn't care if someone challenging me were to die, but we shall attempt to allow the innocent to live as long as they desire." He said simply and turned towards the light. "Let's hurry.... I have a feeling that my little blonde fox has gotten into a little predicament..." Sighing as he took off at a gliding run.

Lei noted how the guy's grin grew larger but shrugged it off, "The name's Analeigh." she says in a cool tone.

Deciding it might be a good idea to go back to Lei, Noelle drops down off the roof and heads back, stopping when she sees someone talking to Lei. No.. it can't be. Pulling the scythe out, Noelle grips it, "Lei." she yells, "Get away from him."

Jace looked at Jokull and towards the area of the beacon. "If i may master, maybe if i do a little searching i can find a crown or two before the maps are dispersed" The man walked a few steps away from the man as shadows engulfed his feet. "Besides, Im sure two shadow users aren't good for a battle"

Lance glared at the person infront of he knew very well what the beacon was for, Lucien took a fist and threw it into the man's gut. "Last chance, lie to me again and your dead.." Lances eyes were lust filled and serious. "There is no one here to stop me or hear you scream so please feel free to try. Next question, What is your name." Lance gritted his teeth, he had no time to be dealing with things like this he had to make sure Noelle was okay.

Lucien smiled, The voice that rang through his head was a familiar one, a voice that made his blood boil and his skin crawl. "So this was the Ele you were talking about? This so happens to be the women i wanted to kill." Lucien glanced over at Noelle and smiled. "Ellie its been too long, I missed the gorgeous face of yours, how long has it been 4 months? As for your friend here will more like accomplice am i right?" Lucien gesture towards lei with his hands and looked from her back to Noelle. "she has joined my side. its too late for petty phrases like 'get away from him'"

Noelle hesitates, hearing the pet name he called her, "Lei, please don't tell me that's true. You didn't join up with him." her eyes go to Lei, pleading before turning back to Lucien, "Don't call me Ellie again."

Lei shrugs, "It's true." she replies, turning away, "None of my business whatever is between you two."

"Lei." Noelle blinks, "Don't do this."

Lips twitching slightly into a smile, Jokull nodded and took off towards the light and hurrying through the trees. Gliding between the trunks easily with a flowing step. Sliding to a stop he raised the staff as he caught sight of the scene before him. "Makani! You leave one mark on him and I'll make sure you feel every bit of pain as I freeze your heart in your chest." He growled lowly and let the glinting ice cold eyes as he stepped forward from his spot.

He gasped and gave a low groan as he attempted to keep his head up even while in pain. "Nnngh.... My name is..." But he was cut off by the voice of his leader. Eyes going wide, he swallowed slightly and flicked his eyes over to look at the elf.

Lance smirked hearing the voice of the other man and seeing makani freeze in front of him. "Tell him if he makes one move i'll kill you, Now so far I have no reason to kill a boy, but if he becomes Violent ill have no choice now tell him." Lance focused his eyes upon the man who had just shown up, Glyphs began running from Lance's feet to the mans feet and wrapped around his legs.

Lucien drew from his waist the sword from its scabbard along the blade a blood red bolt of lightning coiled around it as he turned toward noelle. "Don't you ignore my questions woman, i won't let you get away this time. You will pay for doing what you did Ellie.."

Noelle grits her teeth, "It's been more than four months.. and what I did? I didn't murder someone in cold blood." she screams at him, There's no way I can fight here and win.. not if Lei is on his side. Noelle took a few steps back, her eyes darting for an escape route..

Makani turned his golden eyes upon Jokull and chewed his lip slightly. "I'm sorry... Doesn't look like I could get you a map first." He said with a weak smile and squirmed in the grasp.

Jokull laughed as he glanced down at the glyphs running along the ground. "Heh... A simple entrapment spell is nothing... Try freezing in ice." Smiling as he closed his eyes and raised his staff slightly. Quickly the trees around him started to coat in ice and sag towards the ground. This was part of the reason that he hated being in large groups after his anger had gotten the best of him. Magic of any kind, especially his ice, would get out of control unless he was on constant watch. "I can't speak for the ice, but I won't do anything violent. Not for that foolish fox anyways."

Lucien smirks when Noelle raised her voice to a scream and shakes his head glaring her down slowly raising his voice the further he got into the sentence. "how maNY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU!!!.....It was only necessary he was not the right choice for you he was only going to hurt you.. I am the right one for you, But its too late to fall for me now little Ellie.. Not after you gave me this scar around my eye..." Lucien walked closer and closer to the women the insanity could be seen merely by looking at the man. "You have no one now Noelle, Who will you turn to? I have taken the closest thing you have to a friend, and even she did not care.."

As Lucien got closer, Noelle continues to step back, "I would never fall for you." the grip on the scythe tightened, Lance.. I need to find Lance. Noelle turned to run the way she had came..
