Long's feet slipped, but his hands held fast. He turned back and glared at Rosen a bit, suddenly looking more youthful in his anger at being kicked in the rear.

Long's glared deepened a little at Rosen's grin. Long though Rosen was having too much fun at his expense.

Long tried to find a way to avoid Rosen crashing into him, but he didn't have too much of a choice.

There was no 'whoop' from Long. Actually there wasn't much from Long at all. At first he tried to push away from Rosen, but quickly gave up since the slide was too slippery and narrow. So he just waited for them to hit the water.
