I am apprehensive about changing mine, I love it to pieces but I feel like I need a change, and I have one I am working on now that is so-so.

How do you do it?

What do you mean how do I do it?

I mean what steps do you go through to make your art. do you draw it in pen or is it all water color?

[Honey]

It is a mix of the two. I draw the lines of the fish, the outline of the fins, the eyes, the details, everything like that with gel pen. Then, I let it dry and break out the water colors. Everything gets a base, then the scales get different colors and the fins get stripes too to give a bit more depth. On the red one I tried to use acrylic to add the shimmer of the fins, but it did not work

It adds a nice pop of color, but it was not what it should have been xD Oh well, I liked the blue one better anyway.

That was a pretty good book XD My brother first said it reminded him of one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.

I'm afraid I do not have a yellow pen or one a similar enough color. It would not come out well on the cardboard back of the sketchbook either xD

XD And it was totally an accident. I was trying to make them those bubble-eyed goldfish and they ended up looking like Stewie Griffin from Family Guy
