One of my friends is in the server and reporting a bunch of lag Dx I don't get it. people in the same city as me seem to have more issues than any one else.

im not sure i want to try any of the 'games' people set up for minecraft XD i poked a public server today and there was like a million sign posts on rules and / commands @-@ though the hunger games are fun to watch ... xD

I'm not sure if i should keep the survival games in my server. it's a bit pointless right now with very few players.

So far we are trying changing graphics settings(lowering render distance to normal etc.) and updating his Java.

Edit: in reference to trying to get my friends game to stop crashing.

are these crashes happening on and offline, and what are the specs of his PC?

well my friends issue might be he was running 32 bit java on a 64 bit os ... ~face palm~

They happen any time he plays (off and online) and I have no idea what his computer's specs are so I don't know if his processor is strong enough.

I guess his pc wasn't good enough for the higher settings.

You were able to do things in the server, hyjin? With 'user' prefix on your name? There's not much to help with as its mainly just the vanilla game with additional helpful commands that are explained at the spawn area.

Just a heads up, the server goes offline tonight as I have to pack my PC for my move. It won't be up for over a week because well have no internet at the Jew place for a while x_x
